Episode 2 Data Recovery Puzzles Walkthrough

In Episode 2 of An Elmwood Trail you will need to continue the data recovery process on Zoey's to unlock more missing content. The data recovery sections will come at certain points in the game progression.

This will mean completing more puzzles and mini games to recover some of the lost data from the phone. Below is a description of the Puzzles from Episode 2 and the methods you need to use to solve them. If you are looking for help with Episode 1 data recovery puzzles you can find those here:

First Puzzle

• This puzzle has a 5x5 grid with some numbers entered in green.
• You can tap the empty squares to set the number in each.
• The green numbers cannot be changed.

Episode 2 Walkthrough

Second Puzzle

The second data recovery puzzle is triggered after finding the map of the school. Return to Zoey's phone to start the process.

• This puzzle has a number of squares at the top of the screen and some circular buttons at the bottom.
• Tapping the buttons will turn them on or off and also activate some of the squares.
• 4 squares will produce green ticks and the others will show red X's.
• Find the correct combination of buttons, on or off, to light up only the 4 green ticks.

Third Puzzle

The third puzzle is triggered after your own phone is taken over by crossbar_36 and then talking to them on littlehamsters.com

• There are 7 grey buttons to tap on the screen.
• Tapping them in the correct order will turn them green.
• If you tap one in the wrong order it will turn red and you have to start again.
• Find the correct order to turn them all green to complete the puzzle.

Fourth Puzzle

This puzzle appears after unlocking diary Page 8.

• This puzzle has another grid of squares
• Some have circles in them, laid out in the shape of a K.
• Tap a square to place a white dot in it. The aim is to fill all of the circles with white dots.
• Each time you tap a square to place a dot all the dots in the other rows will move to the right.
• You can use the button at the to top reset the puzzle.

1. Row 1: Tap square 1 and 3
2. Row 2: Tap square 2 and 5
3. Row 3: Tap square 2 and 3
4. Row 4: Tap square 1 and 4
5. Row 5: Tap square 1 and 4
