Anomaly
More Tears of Themis
There is so much that the main story episodes can provide to you in terms of replay value in Tears of Themis. Once you have completed specific episodes, you might not have any reason for you to replay them. Perhaps you’ll want to have a challenge and put your cards that you have made stronger to the test, so how will you go on about this?
Anomaly mode provides you with episode stages that are much harder than the ones in the main story. In this page, we’ll provide you with the basic information on what Anomaly can provide, and how it differs from the main episodes. If you are up for a challenge, then this mode may be just for you.
What is Anomaly mode?
When checking X-Note, you’ll notice that aside from the main story tab, there’s another tab that’s called Anomaly. This tab will bring you to a page that will have the same episodes as the main one, however the difference here is that it’s focused on battles in the form of debates and they are much harder.
Once you complete the main episodes, you might be wondering what you can do in terms of the cards that you have. As you get stronger cards, you can go to this game mode in order to get rewards that you won’t find. The rewards here can provide you with fragments to increase a specific card’s stats, and you can get evolution materials and skill materials.
Here’s the list of episodes that are available so far, as well as their unlock requirements:

Anomaly Episode List and Completion Rewards
Similar to the main story of the game, completing an episode will provide you with a set of specific rewards. In Anomaly mode, the rewards here specifically provide you with rewards that contain S-Chips, Stellin, as well as specific SR Character fragments.
SR Character fragments are important since they can increase your card’s stats. You usually can get them from getting duplicates of your characters. The card fragments that you get can be used to increase their influence and defense up to four times.
Another purpose for card fragments is that you can collect 100 pieces of them and turn them to an actual SR card. Anomaly stages lets you earn these fragments, and they can be useful. Here’s the list of episode completion rewards that are available.
Anomaly Episode | Currency Rewards | Fragment Rewards |
---|---|---|
Episode 1 | S-Chip x 100, Stellin x 10,000 | Artem "Staying Humble" Fragment x 5, Luke "Once Upon a Time" Fragment x 5 |

Anomaly Stages with Fragments
When playing through Anomaly mode, your main goal is to complete all stages first in order to get your episode completion rewards. Once you have claimed all of those, you will then want to replay the stages that have character fragments in them depending on which card you want to improve or create.
Remember that you can improve your card with fragments up to four times if you already have that SR card. If you don’t have a specific SR card yet, then you will need 100 of these fragments to create them. Here is the list of available SR Card fragments that you’ll be able to get in Anomaly.

Since you have a limited number of AP that’s available for use, it would be best for you to check which stages will be suitable for you for farming character fragments. The rest of the anomaly stages have items that can provide you with materials for increasing your character’s skills. It would be best for you to check each card that you have in order to see which anomaly stages have the items that you need instead.
