In Tears of Themis, it is your role as the rookie attorney to help out and solve cases as you unlock different mysteries in different episodes. Along the way, you’ll get to meet different characters, as well as your potential love interests. Not only do you go through the story and prepare for your trial, but you will also have to go through debates.

Debates will require you to use your cards in order to win. Your opponents get stronger as you progress through the game’s content, therefore you’ll want to get stronger by enhancing and evolving your cards. In this page, we’ll check the different types of Legal Studies that are available. One of the resources that you will need is Equalization Chips, and this can be acquired through Case Study.

What is Case Study?

In Tears of Themis, there are different types of evolving materials that are needed for cards. Once you reach your maximum enhancement level for a specific card, you will need to evolve them in order to unlock a new level cap, as well as better stats. Evolution materials come in the form of chips, and the type that you get will affect which card you can evolve.

Case Study lets you play debates that will let you farm Equalization Chips which are required for cards that feature Artem Wing. This kind of chip will be needed later on as you unlock later evolutions, so farming character specific ones will depend on which cards that you have.

There are a total of three stages that you can unlock for evolution materials, therefore this applies to other chips that you can get as well. If you want to maximize the materials you can get, make sure to unlock the latest stage.
