Punishing Gray Raven is a visually-stunning, action-packed ARPG set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the Corrupted. The game has a variety of different modes and challenges that make up the game’s main content, giving players a platform to test their skills and get more rewards.

Phantom Pain Cage Basics

Phantom Pain Cage is a mode unlocked once you’ve reached Commandant Level 35 and cleared story stage 5-7 Normal. In this mode, players will face simulated versions of different bosses you’ll encounter in the story stages. Earn training points and resources by eliminating these bosses.

Your Progress (score) is affected by three different factors:

* Damage Dealt: Deal more damage to the boss to earn more Progress. Progress cannot exceed the maximum value.

* Remaining Time: The less time it will take to finish the boss, the higher the amount of Progress gained. Progress cannot exceed the maximum value.

* Remaining HP: The higher the amount of HP left after defeating the boss, the progress earned. Progress cannot exceed the maximum value.

Participating in Phantom Pain Cage is limited to 3-4 attempts only per day. These challenge attempts are refreshed daily as part of the game’s daily reset schedule. After defeating a boss, you can opt to save the score (and consume an Attempt count) or Save Cancel. The latter will allow you to challenge the boss again without consuming an Attempt Count, for a chance to earn a better score/ progress.

The number of bosses players will face will depend on their commandant level. Players below LV54 can fight two bosses a week while those above 54 have the option to fight three bosses instead. All bosses featured in this mode have five difficulty levels: Test, Elite, Knight, Chaos, and Hell. You can unlock the next difficulty level after clearing the preceding one. Bosses will have increased stats and new skills/attack patterns as you go through their higher difficulty variations.

Each construct used to challenge these bosses will consume 1 AP after clearing a battle in Phantom Pain Cage. All constructs will start with 5 AP, which means you can only use a construct up to 5 times a week. Once AP is exhausted, the construct can’t be deployed for this mode until the weekly reset is implemented.

Auto-Play is unlocked after defeating the bosses of the first three difficulties though this convenient option will only save 80% of the record. After the weekly refresh, you’ll be able to use this option once again.

Boss Lists

Here’s the list of bosses you’ll face in this mode:

* Roland

* Vassago

* Roseblade

* Camu

* Musashi IX

* Tifa - Iron Maiden

* Nozzle

* Unknown Construct ?

* Rosetta
