Punishing: Gray Raven Is Holding a Crossover Event with Black Rock Shooter
The latest news from Kuro Games is a wild treat for fans of sci-fi RPGs.
Punishing: Gray Raven, the studio's blockbuster anime RPG, has partnered up with none other than Black Rock Shooter for a massive Blazing Simulacrum event, consisting of new story content, coatings, modes, and more.
For the uninitiated, Punishing: Black Raven is a 3D free-to-play action-RPG that sits firmly in the genre's luxurious VIP section.
It's set in a dystopian future in which the remnants of the human race are hiding out on an orbiting space station called Babylonia.
Playing as the commandant, it's your job to create an army and bring the fight to the diseased robots, reclaiming your home planet in the process.
That's a pretty big ask, of course, so it's a relief to learn that Black Rock Shooter—the character we all know-well, will be on hand for the next little while to help out. This character is an A-Rank Omniframe, which is a great choice for fire team. Players can easily get her by 10 pulls in the game, making her become super new user friendly. Besides, her exclusive coating-Elder Flame will also be released during this patch.
The Blazing Simulacrum patch contains a ton of cool stuff, including a special Black Rock Shooter story chapter, her fateful enemy-Dead Master will also join in the world. Let's accompany by Black Rock Shooter to finish her fateful battle. Her skill movement design is also following her original image. The blue fire on her eyes will be burnt when she is releasing her signature. Classic Bladed Cannon has also been brought to the game as her exclusive weapon.
Other updates include new SFX Coatings like Nightbreaker for Lucia, Crimson Wave, and Snowbreak Bloom for Liv: Luminance. While Solitary Dream for Bianca: Stigmata and Vox Solaris for Selene Capriccio will have a rerun.
Plus, throughout Blazing Simulacrum you'll be able to play a time-limited mode called Chessboard Realms, which dares to imagine what chess would be like if Black Rock Shooter were one of the pieces.
Play Punishing: Gray Raven for free right now on Android, iOS, or PC.
