Compositers Guide
More Punishing: Gray Raven
Punishing Gray Raven is a visually-stunning, action-packed ARPG set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the Corrupted. The game has a variety of different characters, each with their own set of skills, abilities, attack styles and more. While all characters in the game are viable, there are characters that are insanely strong by default while others will require a bit of investment to be on par with them. In our Punishing Gray Raven Compositor page, we will discuss the basics regarding Compositers
Warning: This is a feature that’s not yet introduced in the Global version of the game. Beware of spoilers and possible changes especially in mechanics and terms.
As soon as players start playing the game, they’re introduced to the playable characters called Constructs. These are humans whose consciousness is installed on a combat-ready frame or physical body, tasked with fighting the Corrupted and retaking Earth. And then, there’s the Compositers.
Compositers are an alternate group of playable characters in Punishing Gray Raven. According to the lore, these are former constructs that were chosen by the Ascendant Network as candidates for Ascension. Right now, they’re infused with the Punishing Virus allowing them to withstand high viral concentrations. Unlike Constructs, Compositers have only one role: Pioneer/Vanguard. Due to their special nature, they can’t be deployed in the same team as Constructs.
Compositers receive a huge ATK boost (+80%) when deployed in Catastrophe Zones. They can still be deployed in regular zones but will have a minor ATK debuff (-9%). Compositers are exceptionally powerful as they are so this attack reduction is really negligible. Compositers can be promoted every 5 levels and will have the following promotion ranks: Hide, Corrode, Dawn, Burst, Aberrance, and Rebirth.
So far, there are only four compositers available and will be S-rank class by default. According to the existing sources, LV52 Commandants will automatically receive Camu - Crocotta, his 5-star weapon Glimpse, and a 6-piece artifact set. Other compositers can be obtained through normal gacha. Unlike constructs, you can get a guaranteed S-rank Compositer for every 10 pulls. Getting duplicates of these Compositers will yield 18 Inver-shards.
