Right now I have 4 guards on an attack march, but through reports I see others have 5 or 6 how do ..

Right now I have 4 guards on an attack march, but through reports I see others have 5 or 6 how do I add more to my attack marches?

You get more march formations through either activating VIP, or through research. I'm not sure off hand which VIP levels add an additional troop formation though.

The reason some folks show more guards is based on the nature of the benefit of their appointed guard cards. For example, if I had my strategist as Lord Winter at 2 stars, he only impacts trap and hospital capacity (non - battle related). If, however, I had Blanchet appointed here, all his boosts (cavalry defense, troop health, etc) are battle related
