How do you get 6 guards to accompany the airship? I only have 4 but people with lower rating have 6.

Guards are divided into 8 different categories, with 6 of them being associated with battle. However, two of them can be fitted with either battle or growth guards, these two positions being Advisor and Ambassador. If you put growth guards here instead of battle guards, they will not show up in reports, as their stats do not benefit your attack or defense.
