Huntress Skill and Gear
More Destiny Girl
Destiny Girl is a gacha waifu collector game where you can form a party of diverse heroines called Huntresses, each with their own strengths and personalities. Huntresses have their own set of skills and gear. Managing these will directly contribute to their overall combat power. In our Huntress Skill and Gear Guide, we will discuss how to improve these different attributes to further enhance your Huntress’ combat proficiency.
Skill
Huntresses have different skills that they can use in combat including normal attacks and devastating special attacks. They may also have passive abilities that give them an edge in combat. The number of skills a huntress possesses will depend on their rarity. SSR huntresses have four skills, and exclusive gear skill (more on that below). SR huntresses have three skills at their disposal, while R huntresses only have two. Exclusive Gears are only available to SSR huntresses as well, setting them very far apart from the SR and R huntresses. The skill levels of huntresses are tied to their level. When you select a skill, the details, current level, and the next level of that skill will be displayed as well. As soon as your huntress reaches the required level, the skill will improve automatically. This is quite straightforward and useful since you don’t need to micromanage the skill improvement. Better yet, you don’t need to farm for separate materials to level up the skills.
Finally, the exclusive gear skill is tied to an SSR huntress’ Exclusive Gear. You’ll unlock this gear once the huntress reaches 3-stars. This can be hard to attain since you’ll need to get several shards of the huntress, and the easiest way to do that is to get another copy of the same huntress (a duplicate is worth 100 shards). Aside from spending a ton of money to fuel the immense gacha needs to get multiple copies, you really need to spend a lot of time and effort in the game to get as much crystals as you can, then rely solely on luck to get the copies of your favorite huntresses to get them to LV3 as soon as possible.
Gear
Each character has six character slots, with the last two unlockable after clearing 6-24 in the campaign. The type of equipment is usually shared between classes so you can only swap gears between huntresses of the same class. There are also equipment pieces with the Elemental Bonus attribute. This will be indicated by a small elemental icon in the lower-left side of the equipment icon. If that elemental gear is equipped to a huntress with the same element, the gear will provide a 20% more gear attribute bonus to the huntress. An “on-element” gear will have an animated flaming effect on its icon. Each gear piece can be Enhanced to improve their attributes. You can use Steel Ingots as enhancement materials. If you don’t have ingots, you can use old equipment pieces instead. Each enhancement fodder adds to the pink, circular gauge around the selected gear to be upgraded. You need to continue adding the fodder until the gauge is full then pay the required amount of gold to increase the equipment’s level. The amount of fodder and gold required to level up the equipment will depend on the gear’s current level. You can also conveniently use the Quick Fill button to automatically select the fodder. (Ingots will be prioritized by this action)
As much as possible, avoid enhancing green and white-rarity gears. You can enhance some blue gears but don’t level them up too much. Depending on how much you’re struggling, you may consider enhancing some purple gear until you’re able to get the orange and red gears. The latter are top-priority; don’t hesitate to drain your enhancement materials to level them up!
