Tap on the number and switch to Adams phone

After you got Lily's number, you go back to your original phone and you go to messages. The conversation you will have with lily normally would appear there.

Or you dail her number on Adam's phone (your character). Since I don't know where you are in the story, I think the first option is the one.

I keep calling the number but it will ring then end. I’m still at the start of the game
