In Virtual Villagers Origins 2 the premium currency of the game is Lavastones and they appear as gems. They can be used to buy things from the in-game marketplace or used for the villager bonus roulette wheel. In order to spin the Bonus Wheel you need to spend 3 Lavastones and if you do not like the bonus you land on, you can spin again. In addition, you can replace a villager's existing bonus by spinning the wheel again. Only one bonus can be active per villager. Multiples of a bonus can appear on the wheel at the same time.

The villager walks twice as fast.

The villager becomes adept at building.
- Adept Researcher:
The villager becomes adept at researching.
- Adept Farmer:
The villager becomes adept at farming.
- Master Builder:
The villager becomes a master at building.
- Master Gatherer:
The villager becomes a master at gathering.
- Master Farmer:
The villager becomes a master at farming.
- Master Healer:
The villager becomes a master at healing.
- Perfect Villager:
The villager masters all skills.
- Extra 5 Years:
Adds 5 years to the villager's lifespan.
- Extra 10 Years:
Adds 10 years to the villager's lifespan.
- Extra 15 Years:
Adds 15 years to the villager's lifespan.
- Extra 20 Years:
Adds 20 years to the villager's lifespan.
- Double Max Age:
The villager lives twice as long.
- Spin Again:
Gives the player a free spin.
- Giant Head:
Increases the size of the villager's head.
- Look of Youth:
The villager's appearance changes to that of a 14-year-old.
