Puzzle 4: Release the Kraken

The fourth puzzle in Virtual Villagers Origins 2 you need to solve requires that you light the pot-like structures at the statue, find the Kraken eyes, and push two large stones. Check out our Puzzle 4: Release the Kraken guide to find out how this is done.

To complete the puzzle you will need:

- 2 builder adult villagers (trainee, adept, or master)

- Level 1 construction (level up construction once)

- Oil

- Fire

To start with you need to drag an adult villager to the Crafting Hut and select 'Oil' which they will then take to the statue of the Kraken.

Drag an adult villager to the Crafting Hut again and select 'fire' so they use it to light the oil. At this point you need to find the eyes of the Kraken statue, the first eye can be found among the reeds to the left of the tree at the bottom right of the island. Drag a villager to it and they will take the eye to the statue of the Kraken.

The second eye is found beneath the lab and to the right where the lava connects with the lab. Before you can collect the eye you will have to send an adult villager to the Crafting Hut to get water to cool it down. Once it has cooled down you can drag an adult villager to it to pick it up and take it to the statue of the Kraken.

Assemble the eyes you found into the sockets of the Kraken statue by dragging an adult villager to the Kraken statue. Upon doing so two large stones, at the centre of the island and bottom right of the lab will fall.

You now need to drag 2 builder adult villagers to push the stones at the same time so they fall. When the stones have been pushed over the Kraken will appear and you can now go to the 'Puzzles' screen and collect your 3 Lavastones.
