Puzzle 3: Scarecrows

The third puzzle in the second chapter of Virtual Villagers Origins 2 is is Scarecrows and to solve it you must build a scarecrow. Check out our Puzzle 3: Scarecrows guide to find out how this is done.

To complete the puzzle you will need:

- Child villager

- Master Farmer

- Master Builder

- 1 Fertilizer

- 2 Ropes

- Whale bone

To begin with you need to make fertilizer, this is created by combining mixed herbs which is made from grass and wheatgrass and earth. Once you have the fertilizer bring it to the green pumpkin in order to fertilse it, this takes 2 hours.

- Fertilizer = Mixed Herbs + Earth

- Mixed Herbs = Grass + Wheat Grass

Then next thing you need to do is construct a scythe. To do this you need to bring whale bone to the construction table and use a master builder to make the scythe. Using a master farmer cut yellow grass with the scythe and collect branches from the dead tree beside the Crafting Hut. Make vine which is created by combining vine and vine and use it to tie the scarecrow you are building with the yellow grass and sticks together.

- Vine = Vine + Vine

If you now bring a child to the pumpkin you fertilized earlier they will carve it up so it looks like a face. Then to complete the puzzle you have a master builder place the carved pumpkin head onto the scarecrows body. Once they have done this you can then go to the 'Puzzles' screen and collect the reward of 3 Lavastones.
