I have dropped adults on the typhoon but still don’t get lava, what do I need to do?

We already have an answer for a similar question which you can see here:
Where can I find lava?

If you have more answers to add you can do that below.

To get the lava, drop the villager just below the rock in the "Y"

Go to the hot rock and hover an adult over it until it says gathering resources.
