Learn about Factions
When choosing your heroes, you might notice that there’s an emblem beside them that will let you know which faction they belong to. Factions are the groups that they belong to in the game’s story, and they can provide you with some effects to the game as well as follows:
Faction Bonus: In playing any mode of the game, you’ll be able to increase your team’s health and power by improving your faction bonus. Since a team is comprised of 5 heroes, the number that you have that belongs to a specific faction will affect their health as well as attack power. You can check the reference image below to see which bonuses you’ll be able to get.
Faction Advantage: Aside from playing the game’s campaign mode, there will be instances where you can have fights versus other heroes as well. Some stages in the game have fights versus humans, and there will be instances such as the Arena where you can fight the team of another player. There is actually a faction advantage where some factions are stronger than the other, check the image below to see the effectiveness.
We’ll be creating our own Faction advantage guide so please check our pages in the menu. Learning about the bonuses that you can get from factions will help in your strategy of fighting your enemies, so make sure to check the Hero Index as well for more information.
Claim your free Diamonds
Recruiting heroes is very important in this game, so you will want to save up on Diamonds as much as you can. There are a variety of ways to claim your free diamonds as well since they can be hidden in different areas of the game. Follow these tips to know as your general guideline:
Complete your Quests
When playing for the first time, you’ll notice that your Quests will have to be unlocked as you progress through the game’s campaign. Quests will provide you with activities that you can complete in exchange for rewards, and it’s important that you finish your Daily and Weekly Quests.
Main Quests are something that will be completed in the long run as well. All quests provide you with useful items such as EXP Drinks, Energy Drinks, Recruit Tickets, Diamonds, Gold, as well as resources. You can scroll the list of quests available to see the unlock requirements.
Save 2,700 Diamonds for Recruiting
Once you have unlocked the Cantina, you’ll be able to have the option to recruit using tickets or Diamonds. If you are going to use the Diamond option, it would be best for you to recruit once you have 2,700 for 10 pulls. Individual pulls costs 300 Diamonds, which means that pulling individuals 10 times will cost you 3,000 Diamonds in total.
By pulling using 2,700 Diamonds, you will be saving much more. It can be tempting to do individuals; however, you will lose out if you keep doing this. Make sure to complete your quests daily and weekly to save up on recruit tickets as well.
Focus on 5 heroes
Once you have your routine set up, you’ll focus on progressing through the game’s campaign mode. Since resources are limited, it would be best for you to focus on 5 heroes that will be your mainstays in a team. EXP Drinks and Gold are valuable resources, so you will want to invest them on your top 5 heroes.
Eventually, you’ll also be able to unlock the Academy which will help sync and level up your other heroes anyway. If you have 5 heroes that you have picked, you can choose to reset the other heroes in the Harbor and claim your resources back. This can be used to focus on your main heroes for progression.
Soon enough, you’ll be able to get the hang of playing Undead World: Hero Survival. There will be more features that you’ll unlock as you keep playing the game’s campaign mode. We’ll have dedicated pages regarding those, so keep an eye out in our guide’s menu.
