If you check the Instant Rewards button, you’ll also find that there’s a daily limit before instant rewards can be refreshed. This is due to the number of times you can claim instant rewards within a given day, and this can involve the use of Diamonds.

Instant Rewards Limit

Within a given day, you’re able to claim up to three instant rewards. This means that you can possibly get 6 Hours’ worth of resources each day. Instant Rewards can be claimed each day for free, but then you’ll have to use Diamonds on your next tries until you use up your limit. You can claim instant rewards as follows:

Once the third claim has been used, you won’t be able to get anymore until the timer completes until the next refresh. Using 75 Diamonds daily for your second and third claims are not a bad deal, so try to use this feature often.

Eventually, you’ll get enough resources that you will need for the heroes that you have. You can then use this feature optionally later on, but if you’re starting out then try to claim your instant rewards often to max out your resources.
