How do you plant Crops in Township? When you start your town, you have already been given a plot of land where you can plant your first batch of wheat, this is part of the tutorial once you start the game. Planting crops are important since they're the basis of majority of your other products that you can make on your factories.
You can increase the tiles of fields that you have through the shop. Under the farming category, you can add more fields based on your town's population. In order to have more people, you need to build houses as well as community buildings.
Each crop that you make has varying times in order for them to fully grow. These crops are then used on your factories in order to produce items such as feeds, bread, etc. They are also used as products when you send them out through Helicopter, Train, or Airplane.
Having crops planted all the time will ensure that you have materials ready to be used on your factories. They're also important since they provide food.
