Wander Guide

You have the ability to wander through the various regions of the continent by using a magical device called a Portal Mirror. You can meet consorts and trigger random events whenever you use the mirror - with Luck having a direct effect on such encounters. In our Wander Guide, we will discuss how this feature works and why you should use the Mirror often.

Refantasia: Charm and Conquer is a simulation and empire-building game where players take on the role of a Lord and attempt to forge their path in a fantasy medieval world. Choose your consorts, produce heirs/heiresses, forge alliances, and manage your kingdom and lead it to prosperity.

Overview

You can access the Wander option in the City screen, directly to the left of the Citadel. In the Wander screen, you can find the Portal Mirror which serves as a gateway for you to travel to various locations and trigger random encounters. Each use will drain 1 Mirror Energy and use up 2 Luck (points). 1 Mirror Energy is replenished every 30 minutes until you collect the maximum Energy amount that you can collect.

The maximum amount of energy you can hold at a time is determined by your Royal Level. Increasing the Royal level will also increase this energy. You can also use a consumable item called a Mirror Brush that replenishes 3 Mirror Energy (points) per piece. You can obtain this through completion of various objectives, achievement, or event rewards; you can also exchange it from various in-game Shops.

Luck and Perfume

Your luck determines the chance of you encountering consorts in your Wandering attempts. The higher the luck, the more likely you’ll encounter consorts. As mentioned above, each Wander attempt costs 2 Luck. Don’t worry; luck replenishes over time but can also be boosted by completing Daily Tasks and using consumables called Four Leaf Clovers (+10 Luck per piece).

You also have the option to use special consumables called Perfumes. These items artificially increase your chances of encountering consorts without consuming any Luck. There are three perfume types that boost your encounter chance by 50%, 75%, and 100%. You can only use one Perfume type at a time.

As much as possible, always try to keep your Luck’s value up, and increase its amount daily. This way, you’ll have higher chances of encountering new consorts and oath them quickly or encounter consorts you’ve already married and increase their Intimacy. You have to use this feature often to increase the number of members of your harem.

Encountering Consorts

Consorts are basically your potential wives. If you have met a consort you’ve already married with, you’ll have a romantic date instead and their Intimacy will increase by 1 point. Take note that other than using rings, this is the only other way of boosting their Intimacy.

Encountering a new consort for the first time doesn’t mean that she’ll submit herself to you immediately. You have to meet the same consort again in subsequent Wander attempts to build trust and intimacy with her. This “intimacy” value is represented by hearts and not directly related to the Intimacy attribute found on your married consorts. Whenever you encounter the same consort again, the hearts will slowly fill up; once all hearts are full, you and the consort will take an oath immediately and she’ll become part of your harem from there onward.

Random Events

Aside from consorts, you can also trigger other encounters when Wandering. If you have encountered a Follower, he/she will provide you with a random gift. You can also occasionally encounter bosses; defeating them in two rounds of combat will award you with special rewards like Crystals.

Additionally, if your Royal Level is high enough, you can enable the Quick Wander checkbox in the lower-left corner of the screen. Doing so will allow you to consume all the Mirror’s energy in one attempt and you’ll get a summary of all the encounters and their respective rewards. The good thing about this is that you can also playback new encounter scenes of consorts if you want to. The Quick Wander summary will provide the necessary information about the encounters, including the rewards you obtained from them.
