Heir Garden Guide
More Refantasia: Charm and Conquer
As you gather more consorts and spend time with them through romantic dates, you’ll eventually produce several heirs that you can raise to contribute towards your realm power and progress. In our Heir Garden Guide, we will discuss how to train or marry off your heirs for the glory of your kingdom.
Refantasia: Charm and Conquer is a simulation and empire-building game where players take on the role of a Lord and attempt to forge their path in a fantasy medieval world. Choose your consorts, produce heirs/heiresses, forge alliances, and manage your kingdom and lead it to prosperity.
Overview
The Heir Garden can be accessed from the Citadel screen, right below the Haren option. On that screen, you’ll see two sub-sections: Education and Marriage. The first option allows you to raise your heirs by increasing their level (age) until they’re old enough to marry. Once an heir or heiress is an adult, you can then move on to have them marry other players’ heirs or heiresses to gain permanent bonuses to your realm power or just send them on a Voyage, leaving your realm while keeping their bonuses intact and accounted to your realm power.Heirs grant bonuses to the overall Realm Power (your kingdom’s power) so you have to produce and train as many heirs as you can. The potential or quality of the heirs birthed will depend on the consort’s rank or Elevation status. The higher their Elevation/Rank, the better the quality of the heirs produced and the higher the attribute bonuses they’ll get while they’re getting raised.
It’s recommended to actually check your Heir Garden and see if you have any heir that can be leveled up to adulthood or if you have available slots. This is because if you go on a date with your consorts, no heirs will be produced if you don’t have any slots available. You can also rename your heirs before they get married off as adults (get creative but respectful - as much as you can)
Education
This screen allows you to raise your heirs individually. The number of heirs you can raise at a time is limited by the number of slots. You can permanently increase the slots and capacity of this facility by spending crystals. To raise an heir, you have to spend a resource called Focus. Focus is replenished over time at a rate of 1 every 6 minutes, until their limit is reached. You can also use a consumable called “Fresh Milk” to replenish 3 Focus instantly. Once the max amount of Focus is replenished, the auto-replenishment will stop until you spend them. The maximum Focus you can keep can be increased by leveling up your Royal Level (player level). Each Focus Point spent will add a certain amount of EXP to the heir’s EXP gauge. The amount of EXP each focus point adds to the gauge is not fixed; sometimes, there are RNG-triggered instances that double EXP is applied instead. Once the gauge is filled, the heir increases his/her level or age.
Heirs go through 4 different stages as their age (level) increases: Infant, Child, Teenager, and Adult. Once an heir reaches 18 years old, they’re considered adults and can be arranged to marry other players’ heirs of the opposite sex and with almost the same potential. Doing so will grant the heirs’ attribute bonuses to both parties’ realms.
There’s also a “Quick Raise” option that will allow you to instantly raise an heir without tapping on the “Raise” button repeatedly. However, this is locked behind certain conditions below:
* Unlock Quick Raise: Reach VIP 3 or Royal LV 8
* Unlock Quick Raise All Heirs: Reach VIP 5 or Royal LV10
Marriage
Adult heirs can marry another player’s adult heirs of the opposite sex and with the same potential. Once successfully married, both players will receive the attribute bonuses of the other player’s heir. All unmarried adult heirs will be displayed in the first tab of the screen. From there, you can tap the “Propose” button of the heir that you want to marry off then select another player’s heir from the list. If the other player accepts, then both your heirs will be married, their attribute bonuses applied to each player, and will be removed from the list to be “archived”. Additionally, if you’re part of an Alliance (guild), you can see a separate list of the available heirs for your allies, should you wish to marry off your heir to their own heirs. For convenience, simply tap Auto-Match to let the system automatically select an available, best match for your heir. There’s an option for Quick Matching but that feature is not available until you reach Royal Level 10.
After selecting Auto-Match or right before finalizing the marriage proposal, you can send off Gifts along with your heir. Gifts will grant both players attribute bonuses for the successful marriage. There are three types of gifts with varying costs and attribute bonuses. All three types can be obtained from value packs and events.
Gift | Cost | Attribute Bonus |
---|---|---|
Potpourri | Free | Basic gift; +0% |
Goblet | 10 Goblets | +25% |
Lord’s Shield | 10 Lord’s Shields | +50% |
Finally, you can send heirs to a Voyage. They’ll be permanently removed from the list of available heirs for marriage but their attribute bonuses will remain accounted for. Unlike marriages that will get recorded, heirs sent to their journeys are practically exiled and forgotten. At least you get to have a generic farewell letter to remember them by.
