Harem (Consort) Guide

Your Harem is made up of all the consorts you’ve married and gives you the option to manage them by improving their Charm and Intimacy levels. These attributes have a direct effect on the heirs they give birth to and followers they inspire. In our Harem (Consort) Guide, we will discuss how to manage your consorts and take advantage of the benefits they bring to the table.

Meeting Consorts

As a lord, you have a Harem of consorts from different races. They’re different from your followers since they’re non-combatants and their main role is to produce heirs for you. As the harem’s owner, your job is to spend time with them, bestow gifts, and increase their intimacy to be able to give birth to heirs with better attributes.

You can meet new consorts via the Wander menu. Encountering a new consort for the first time doesn’t mean that she’ll submit herself to you immediately. You have to meet the same consort again in subsequent Wander attempts to build trust and intimacy with her. This “intimacy” value is represented by hearts and not directly related to the Intimacy attribute found on your married consorts. Whenever you encounter the same consort again, the hearts will slowly fill up; once all hearts are full, you and the consort will take an oath immediately and she’ll become part of your harem from there onward. Followers vs Consorts

At first, it’s easy to mistake the two since most followers and all consorts are females. In this section, we’ll try to make it easier for you to distinguish the two. Basically, consorts are your partners that belong to your Harem. You make love with them and produce heirs with them. Consorts have no attributes that directly impact your realm’s power but their Charm and Intimacy towards you will have an effect on the quality (and attributes) of the heirs born from them. Additionally, consorts have Inspire bonuses applied to followers that are connected to them. Improving this “Inspire” level will improve the corresponding attributes to the Followers they inspire. When you date Consorts regularly, they’ll earn Inspire Points that can be used to boost their Inspire Level to their Followers.

Followers on the other hand, are your officers and combatants. They play a major role in Journey Boss Battles, Arena (PvP), World Boss, and other combat modes. Their individual attributes also have a direct effect on the Realm’s power and stats so leveling them up and increasing their talents will have a visible impact to your Realm’s overall productivity and martial prowess. You can’t add any Follower to your harem or have heirs with them (no matter how much you like a Follower). Followers and Consorts are destined in their assigned types; there’s no way to change a Follower to Consort or vice versa.

Intimacy

This is one of the two attributes a consort has and is represented by a pink heart icon. The higher the intimacy value, the heirs they’ll give birth to will have better attributes, and higher attribute gains when raising the Heir. Intimacy can be improved only by Bestowing them with Silver and Diamond Rings. These rings can be obtained from Dungeons, Events, and Value Packs to name a few. Additionally, you can also earn 1 Intimacy Point by encountering consorts you’ve already married again in the mirror portal (Wander).

A consort’s intimacy level also unlocks new “phases”. Reaching these thresholds will unlock new Inspire Skills to her designated follower. Once you reach Intimacy 500, you can even unlock the “Bare Bodies Unite” mode, where your consort slowly removes her clothes. It’s a tall order and Rings can be hard to come by so if you want to reach this phase, it’s highly recommended to play the game regularly and focus on Bestowing rings to one consort at a time.

Charm

This value determines the amount of “Inspire Points” the consort gains whenever you take them on a Date. These Inspire Points can be used to improve the designated followers’ Inspire Skills, which will directly enhance the follower’s individual attributes as well. Charm can be improved by bestowing a consort with Silver Pendants and Gold Necklaces that can be earned from the same sources as the Rings.

Elevation

This is the process of promoting a consort to a higher rank, improving the best possible potential that their heir can have upon birth, as well as improved raising bonus. The elevation requirements are pretty much straightforward: have the required amount of Charm, Intimacy, and number of consorts added to your Harem. The third requirement is negligible since it can be easily attained or exceeded just by playing the game regularly. The most time consuming part of elevation is the actual accumulation of rings and bracelets to increase the consort’s intimacy and charm values to the required level.

All consorts start with the lowest (default) rank: Full-time Maid. At this level, they can only give birth to “mediocre” potential heirs with 0% raising bonus. After reaching the second rank (Whisper Maid), the best potential their produced heirs can have is “ordinary” with +4% raising bonus. The third rank (Silk Maid) can produce “astute” potential heirs with +12% raising bonus, and so on.

Dating

You can go on romantic dates with your consorts for them to earn Inspire Points and even produce an heir. The amount of points they’ll earn will depend on their Charm value (see above) If you’re lucky enough as well, a “miracle” can trigger, significantly boosting the amount of Inspire Points earned for that date.

Dates can be done at random for free or you can take out a specific consort of your choice using crystals. Going on a date for free uses up a Passion (point) and will trigger a date with a random consort. This can be quite counter-productive as the number of consorts you own increases. You have a limited number of Passion points at a time though by increasing your Royal Level, you can also increase the amount of Passion points you can store at a time. Upon using, a Passion point is restored every 30 minutes. You can also use a consumable item called Barren Brew to restore 3 Passion points instantly.

The alternative method is by using crystals or a special invite to go on a date with chosen consort. Going through this process is guaranteed to produce an heir (as long as you have a slot available to raise an heir). The amount of crystals needed to trigger a chosen date will increase after each date taken with that consort.
