08: Mid Boss Airfield

You’ll have very little time to prepare as soon as the stage starts. Concentrate your heroes near the base for them to benefit from your base’s mounted Shieldemitter. Place some rocket launchers and upgrade them to AA Batteries when you have the chance. You can also put at least one Shock Tower near your AA Batteries to slow down the boss shark, allowing you to land more hits. You don’t have to stretch your defenses too far; you don't need to occupy more than halfway in the map. Concentrate upgrading your towers instead.

Your objective is to kill the giant flying bomber shark before you get overwhelmed by the enemy ground units. Having an Engineer is essential here to help you repair the towers remotely as they’ll suffer constant bombardment from the shark boss. The Engineer can also help you boost the power of one of your towers, preferably an AA Battery or pulse cannon, when the boss is within range.
