06: Screw Forest

Don’t be fooled by the initial waves since they can be easily wiped out. Be careful of the third wave where an annoying mix of enemy types can easily bypass your towers. Your HQ has lower HP in this map and has a mounted MG that can be upgraded as well. For now, concentrate on placing additional rocket launchers and pulse cannons. Placing a rocket tower beside the default Omnicannon will help taking out groups of soft targets or damage armored ones as they move along the path. Have your Assault hero stand along the road near the first omnicannon and rocket launcher so you can abuse his Shockwave and Berserk ability to help with the crowd control.

There’s a boss unit in the last wave. If you have several rocket towers, you can focus fire your rockets to the boss using the Recon’s Mark ability.
