Last Updated:

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is an MMOPRG where players take control of a character they chose and explore the beautiful and vibrant world as imagined by Studio Ghibli and Level 5. The game has a lot of other gameplay modes where players can collect valuable resources and materials to power up their character, familiar, weapons etc. Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship is a power up instance/dungeon where you can get a huge amount of gold per session. In our Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship guide we will discuss the basics of this game mode.

Overview

Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship is a power up instance/dungeon where you can get a huge amount of gold per session. On top of that, you can also obtain Goldbeard’s Treasure (chest) that can randomly award you with Fuse Badges, gems, and coins and statues that you can sell for gold. The recommended weapon element and familiar for clearing this instance is Earth.

Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship

You can enter the Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship once per day for free. Unlike the other power-up instances, you can’t use diamonds to re-enter the pirate ship after using your daily entry chance. You’ll need to wait for the game’s daily scheduled reset to get a fresh entry pass.

The objective is to deal damage to Captain Goldbeard before the timer runs out to get more gold. His crew will join the fight and if you defeat them, you can extend the time limit by up to a minute. If the timer runs out or if the player’s HP reaches zero, the battle will immediately end and the gold earned will be awarded.

If you deal enough damage and the captain’s HP reaches zero, his HP will recover and the next phase will automatically start. Think of these phases as Captain Goldbeard’s “upgrades”. The more phases he goes through, the higher his stats get and the more skills he’ll use.

Rating and Auto-Clear

Once Auto-Clear is available, you can instantly collect the rewards equal to the highest difficulty (tier) you’ve successfully cleared without replaying it. Using Auto-Clear will use your entry pass as well.

Clearing Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship will also add some activity points that will count towards your Dailies (daily tasks) gauge. You can conveniently access the Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship entry screen by tapping the Menu button on the top-right > select Challenge > tap Power Up > then select Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship.
