Monster Hunter Outlanders

Release: 29 October 2026

Monster Hunter Outlanders launched on iOS and Android on 29 October. It's developed by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group under licence from Capcom, and it's free to play.

It's set in a new region, Aesoland, and you can hunt solo or team up with up to three other players. The weapons will be familiar to series fans, with the Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun and Bow all included.

You won't be hunting alone either. Original characters called Adventurers join you, along with three kinds of buddy: the Palico, the Rutaco and the Trillan. The monster roster mixes series favourites with new threats, including the Elder Dragon Ruger Aidal and Radiant monsters.

No Man's Sky

Release: 28 October 2026 (iOS)

Hello Games launched No Man's Sky on iPhone and iPad on 28 October. It's free to try, with a one-off $19.99 purchase to unlock the full game.

This is the full game rather than a cut-down version, and it comes with ten years of updates, including the Cosmos update. The one big thing missing is multiplayer, which isn't in the iOS version at launch.

You can play with rebuilt touch controls, a controller, or a mouse and keyboard, and you can cast the game to a TV. Despite the size of the universe, the download is under 4GB.

BLEACH Mirrors High

Release: 28 October 2026

Bandai Namco's BLEACH Mirrors High launched on iOS and Android on 28 October. It tells a new story set after the Thousand-Year Blood War, and series creator Tite Kubo has been closely involved, designing its new characters.

You create your own Soul Reaper, customise their look and shape your own Zanpakuto. Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki are among the familiar faces you'll meet along the way.

Battles are card-based. You lead a squad of three, combine attack cards and trigger Soul Drive for big combo attacks. The opening animation is by Pierrot Films.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered

Release: 29 October 2026

Feral Interactive brought Saints Row: The Third Remastered to iOS and Android on 29 October. It's a premium release at $19.99.

Volition's open-world crime game puts you in Steelport, where the Saints fight to take the city from the Syndicate. You've got a big arsenal of weapons and a garage of vehicles to work with, tanks and hoverbikes among them, and you can play through it solo or in online co-op with a friend.

All of the DLC is included: Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space and The Trouble With Clones, plus more than 30 extra weapons, vehicles and costumes. The touch controls are customisable, and Saints Row: The Third Remastered also supports controllers and keyboard and mouse.

VAMPIR

Release: 27 October 2026

Netmarble launched Vampir globally on 27 October, on mobile and PC with full cross-platform play. It's developed by Netmarble Neo, the team behind Lineage 2: Revolution and Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds.

It's a vampire-themed MMORPG with a dark, gothic horror look, set in what Netmarble calls "a universe ruled by blood, desire, and destruction."

Vampir first launched in Korea in August 2025, where it went to the top of the grossing charts on Google Play and the App Store. Players who pre-registered get a Designated Heroic Mount Summon Ticket, 100 million Gold and a set of Rare Equipment.

Zombie Assault: Resurgence

Release: 28 October 2026

Ninja Kiwi, the studio behind Bloons, launched Zombie Assault: Resurgence on iOS and Android on 28 October. It's a premium release and the latest game in the SAS: Zombie Assault series.

You can fight through it solo or in four-player co-op, playing as one of three classes: Assault, Heavy or Medic. There are more than 60 weapons to unlock, along with turrets and grenades.

Alongside the story missions, there are Special Operations and a bounty board with extra challenges.

The Captain

Release: Late October 2026

Sysiac Games' sci-fi adventure The Captain is now out on iOS and Android, following its PC release in 2021. It's a premium game.

You play Captain Thomas Welmu, a science officer stranded far from home who has to find his way back to Earth. Along the way you recruit a crew, and the choices you make about the civilisations you meet shape the story. Space battles crop up too, but sometimes you can avoid them.

That's the list for this week. We'll be back next week with more of the best new games on iPhone and Android.
