Without mine managers, the process of mining would be done manually and would eat up a lot of your time. For instance, when your start a game, the whole manual process of mining is forced upon you until you’ve leveled up your first shaft to level 5 -- which is when you’ll be given your first chance of hiring a Manager. As you notice, not only that it will automate a leg of the process for you, each Manager also has a special skill, as well as some form of Rarity.
