Grim of Legacy Level 8 Walkthrough

In Level 8 of Escape Room: Grim of Legacy you have returned to playing as Camilo the Archaeologist. You arrive outside a Temple that the book ha instructed you to go to, but now you need to get inside to find a Lotion.

Objective - Get into the Temple

Fist tap on the steps in front of the temple door and collect from the ground an Axe Head.

Then tap on the rock on the right side of the path below the tree. Use the Axe head on this to sharpen it. Collect it again.

Then collect the stick from the ground that is also on the right of the path.

Now view the Axe head in your inventory and add the stick to it to collect the Axe. Then view another rock on the left of the path.

Tap to move the rock and you will find an item underneath with some scorpions. Use the axe to move the scorpions away and then collect the 'Stone Cult'.

Next tap on the small tree to the right of the temple door to view it. Use the Axe on it and it will cut some branches. Collect 3 Sticks from the ground.

Now look on the lower roof on the left of the temple to see a ladder. Tap the rope and it will fall down so that you can collect it.

Next view the front door of the Temple to see a puzzle lock.

Temple Door Lock Puzzle

• Add the Stone Cult piece to start the puzzle.
• Tap pairs of tiles to swap their positions.
• Arrange them to complete the full image.

Enter the temple to complete the Objective.

Objective - Unlock the door

First tap on a column on the right hand side with a coil of rope on it.

Tap on the rope and then you can use the axe on it to cut it into pieces. Collect these ropes.

Now view the ladder in your inventory, there are 3 rungs missing. Add the 3 sticks to it and then the ropes to secure them. Then collect the Ladder.

Now notice a chain hanging from the ceiling on the right next to another column. Place the ladder under it.

Now you can top on the chain to view it. Tap to remove the hanging object and then collect the chain.

Now use the chain on the winch on the floor on the right. it has a green wheel. This will attach it and drag a block form the left.

You can now tap on the block that was moved and see a clue. Remember to order of the icons.

Next tap on the steps in the center, there are lasers crossing the steps stopping you.

At the bottom center is a small puzzle, tap to view this.

Temple Steps Puzzle

• You can tap to swap pairs of icons that are next to each other.
• Move icons to the center slot to swap them with one above or below.
• Arrange the icons to match the ones on the clue on the block.

This will deactivate the lasers and you can collect a Metal Piece from the steps. Now tap on the doors at the far end and view the puzzle lock.

Add the metal piece to it and it will form into a disk with 3 rings. Tap to start the puzzle.

Use the arrow buttons to rotate the 3 rings and complete the image.

Once done the door opens and completes the current task.

Objective - Obtain the Lotion

Go through to the next room.

First view a pedestal on the left side. Collect the pink Gem stone from the floor and then place it into the slot on the pedestal. A drawer will open on the side.

Collect 2 animal head pendants from the drawer. Next view a rock on the right side. Use the Axe on the rock to break it open and you can collect another animal head Pendant and 2 square stone pieces.

Next tap on the top of the pillar on the right to see a clue. View this closely to see icons with some in color. Remember these.

Now tap on the pedestal on the right to see another puzzle. Add the 2 stone pieces to it to begin.

Pedestal Puzzle

• Tap pairs of the square pieces that are next to each other to swap their positions.
• Notice there are 4 that are the same as the ones on the clue on the pillar.
• Move these 4 to the same positions.
• When they are in the correct places they will highlight with the colors.

• Next you need to tap on the 4 colored squares to set the symbols on the 4 blocks above.
• Tap each of the colored squares until the same symbol appears on the related block at the top.

When done you will be able to collect another animal Pendant. Now view the bottom of the pillar on the left of the door. there are 4 holes.

Add the 4 pendants to the slots and a panel will open, you can then collect a key. Then view the door at the end and use the key to open it.

Go through to the next room. There is a large pool in the center

Look closely at the ground at the far end of the pool on the right of the door. Collect the Stick.

Then back out to the previous room and view the bowl of hot coals on the ground. Use the Stick on this to light it on fire and collect the 'Fire Stick'.

Go back through to the room with the pool. On the far wall to the left of the door is a dark panel, view this.

Use the fire stick on it to let you see the clue on it. Notice the arrangement of circles.

Now view the door at the end and see the puzzle on it.

Planet puzzle

• You need to arrange the planets to match the clue.
• You can tap the 5 planet buttons on the right to rotate each ring.
• Moving 1 ring can also move others around it.

The easiest way to do this it to start with the button at the bottom (yellow) and move the yellow planet to the correct position. Then work your way up to the top one at a time.

Collect the 2 gem stones from the panel that opens. Now view the pillar on the far left side, there is a small round slot in the base.

Add the red gem stone to this and a board will extend. Then view the pillar on the far right to see another round slot. Add the yellow gem to it.

With both boards extended you can now tap on the center of the pool to view a box

Box Puzzle

• You need to arrange the symbols so that the rows match the symbols on the sides.
• Use the dark spaces to move the tiles around to arrange them.
• Check the solution image below for help.

This opens the box and you can collect the Lotion. This completes the objective.

You then check the book for the next location, a tree house. And this completes the level

Move on to Level 9.
