To build a generator in Assembly Line you just need to craft together 4 engines with 5 gold plates and 5 copper plates.

We recommend that you check out our building an engine page to see how an engine is made, then basically we just transport to engine via rollers to mix with the copper and gold plates to craft the generators - it's really easy.
