Building a Circuit
Assembly Line Guide

Last Updated:

You can find the details on building a Circuit by selecting the blueprints icon at the bottom of the game (it looks like a blue piece of paper).

Check out the update for September 2018 at the end of the page.

You can see that to build a circuit it requires two pieces of copper wire and one piece of gold.

You also need to have unlocked; roller, wire drawer and crafter.

The idea is that you make the assembly line for any blueprint in the most efficient manner possible. So for example that would mean utilising the smallest possible space to produce the product and making sure all the elements that work on constructing the item in the blueprint and as upgraded as possible.

So for example the smallest footprint that I could make a circuit was over 9 spaces in the factory - maybe some of you whizz-kids know how to make it in an even smaller area - if so drop us a comment! It also means upgrading the items that help make the circuit, doing things like decreasing start times and reducing the electricity costs help to optiimse the process and in turn, increase your profit!

When building your own assembly line for a circuit, don't forget to set everything rotating the correct way and to assign the crafter the job of crafting a circuit!

Take no notice of the starters and sellers at the top of the images, they are purely there to make cash!

If you are feeling ambitious, you can even go ahead and make two circuit assembly lines! Check it out in the screenshot below - Again take no notice of the two starters/sellers at the top of the screen.

And of course, you can expand further still with four circuits!

Beware however, that this setup, while has a very efficient footprint in the factory, it may not be the best set up as the gold is produced much faster than the copper. It may be the case that you will improve efficiency by having three copper starters, or you may be able to improve the speed of the wire drawer to such an extent that it can keep up with the gold production! Good luck finding the best setup that works for you.

September 2018 Update

Seeing as this is one of the most popular pages in our guide we thought it would be a good idea to improve our blueprint and republish a new one which makes better use of the starts and the fact you can now set the number of resources each starter spawns.

This design still uses only three starters but it's footprint in the factory is a bit larger, however there is little or no waste of resources. Check it out in the diagram below.

The two starters at the top throw out 3 pieces of copper per second. The starter at the bottom throws out 2 pieces of gold per second. We utilise more wire cutters, two for each copper starter and splitters for both the gold and copper starters.

We then use a splitter towards the end of the copper process to split the copper wire to two different crafters to mix with the already split gold.
