Artery Gear: Fusion Guide
More Artery Gear: Fusion

Last Updated:

Artery Gear Fusion is a gacha mobile game featuring equally badass and attractive mech girls in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by murderous Puppets. If you’re a veteran or seasoned gacha player, you’re already familiar with how the gacha system works. Most standard gacha concepts are also incorporated in AGF’s own gacha system. If you’re a new player, then this article is for you. In our Recruitment Guide, we will discuss how the game’s Recruitment system works.

Overview

If you’re playing other mobile games with gacha elements, then you’re already familiar with how the system works. If this is your first time encountering such a system, think of it as a lottery. You’ll need to spend premium currency or special items for a chance to get something from the pool of possible prizes/items/characters. The rarer/more valuable items or characters have a lower drop or appearance rate compared to their uncommon or common counterparts. Every pull is random and you can either be lucky or not.

The same mechanic can still be found in Artery Gear Fusion. However, the chances of getting high-rarity characters is a bit forgivable compared to other gacha games since a pity system is set in place. (More on that later) You can always check the drop rate and available characters for a banner by tapping the Rules button in the lower left corner of the banner’s screen.

The game has three banners available at the moment. (Banners are like categories with their own featured characters with increased rate of appearance or sometimes, type of currency required) Forging Crystals is the game’s premium currency, and are used in all banners. Alternatively, you can also use consumables called Special Hiring Agreement. You can earn crystals and SHAs as rewards from various event tasks but the easiest way is topping up with real money or exchanging other game currencies. As of the moment, there are no discounted rate in pulling a 10-pull (x10 recruitment in one button press) so feel free to do single recruitment attempts whenever you want.

Recruitment Guide

Pity System

As with any gacha system, the rarest and most desirable items and characters have incredibly low appearance rate. Fortunately, the game has a pity system which guarantees a 5-star AG after a set number of pulls (recruitment attempts). All banners give players a guaranteed 4-star AG or above for every 10 pulls.

For every recruitment attempt, you’ll gain a Recruit-Order. Collect 200 of these in the Event or Elite recruitment banners to exchange them for the featured character. Since the Event and Elite banners have a limited duration, if you have unused recruit-orders, they’ll be automatically converted to Regular Recruitment Orders. These are used for exchanging 5-star and 4-star AGs in the AG Direct Hiring tab in the Supply Shop. The featured AGs get refreshed after a certain period. You can even recruit high-tier characters from this option! 5-star AGs require 200 RROs while 4-star AGs require 80 RRO. You can obtain 1 RRO for every pull in the Regular Recruitment banner as well but I highly suggest saving up or using your Special Hiring Agreement or Forging Crystals on Event and Elite banners.

Recruitment Guide

The game doesn’t imply that the gauge will reset either if you happen to get the featured character before reaching pity count so it’s safe to assume that the counter will continue to increase until you hit the guaranteed rate so you can get a duplicate copy of the featured character.

Event Recruitment

This banner will feature a 5-star AG from the current event. The event banner’s duration usually has the same deadline as the ongoing event. The rate of getting a 5-star AG is 2.5%, with the featured AG having a boosted 0.7% rate. The remaining 1.8% is further divided into the 14 5-star AGs in the pool (with each having a 0.12% of appearing). 4-star AGs have a 13% chance of appearing, with individual 4-star AGs having a 0.5% chance of getting pulled. The remaining 84.5% is divided into 3-star AGs. You’re guaranteed to get a 4-star AG or above for every 10 pulls.

Recruitment Guide

For every recruitment attempt in this banner, you’ll gain 1 Event Recruitment Order. Collect 200 of these to exchange for the featured AG. When the banner ends, your Event Recruitment Order count will be reset to 0 and any remaining event recruitment orders will be automatically converted into Regular Recruitment Orders.

Elite Recruitment

Elite recruitment doesn’t feature an event character but will have a rotating featured 5-star AG. The drop rate is almost the same as the Event Recruitment banner, with the featured 5-star AG getting a 0.7% drop rate while the rest of the 5-star AGs each having a slightly higher rate of 0.13%. You’re guaranteed to get a 4-star AG or above for every 10 pulls.

Recruitment Guide

For every recruitment attempt in this banner, you’ll gain 1 Elite Recruitment Order. Collect 200 of these to exchange for the featured AG. When the banner ends, your Elite Recruitment Order count will be reset to 0 and any remaining Elite recruitment orders will be automatically converted into Regular Recruitment Orders.

Regular Recruitment

Finally, we have the standard / regular recruitment banner. There are no featured characters in this banner but 5-star AGs from previous events will be included in the pool. The drop rate is 2.5% divided among the available 5-star AGs in the pool.

Recruitment Guide

For every recruitment attempt in this banner, you’ll gain 1 Regular Recruitment Order. Exchange these orders to the AG Direct Hiring tab in the Supply Shop to get the featured 4-star AG for 80 RROs or 200 RRO for the featured 5-star.
