Tindun the Ice Mage - for he is capable of controlling the pace of the enemies using the ice storm. With him, you’ll be able to tackle almost any amount of waves in the game. The other good thing is that you can get him really early in the game too! You might want to check out the Towerlands Best Unit section of the guide for more alternative entries of units to upgrade in the game.
