Added:

The Soul Guardian is an online game that provides you with a mix of RPG online elements, as well as gameplay from the Pokemon series of games which you may be familiar with. The different in this game is that you’re provided with an environment where there are other players as well that you can interact with.

Welcome to The Soul Guardian Beginner’s Guide – Part 1. Here, we’ll be providing you with some tips and tricks when starting out in the game. Hopefully you’ll be able to play through the various features available with ease since this isn’t a traditional Pokemon game after all.

Play through the tutorial section

When playing The Soul Guardian for the first time, you’ll be asked to create your own character in order for you to start your adventure. You will then be provided with a tutorial section, and you’ll be prompted by arrows in order to know which things you should tap next.

Completing quests will provide you with experience, and this will level up your account. Tis will increase your Pokemon’s max level, Energy Cap, as well as Current Energy. Follow the tutorial and you’ll eventually be able to choose your first start Pokemon, so choose wisely. You will then be able to learn how to battle as well as level up your Pokemon, and catching them.

Follow the Quest Tracker

After you have completed your first battle, you’ll have access to the game’s various menu buttons. You can then continue your progress by tapping on the Quest Tracker in the left side of your screen so you can go to your next objective.

Tapping the quest tracker will help your character move automatically. You also have the option to move manually using the virtual joystick just in case you want to battle wild Pokemon. You can use your map to see your current location, so feel free to explore each area.

Use your Map to check the available Pokemon

If your aim is to complete the Pokedex, or perhaps you want to battle Pokemon in order to level them up, then checking the grass will help you with encounters. Another way for you to check the available Pokemon in an area is by using your map. Tap on the map icon on the upper-right side of the screen, and you can tap on the grass to see a preview of the available Pokemon.

Pokemon that haven’t been caught yet will be greyed out. Once you catch the Pokemon in the area, your map will have their icons colored. This a good way for you to keep track of your Pokedex for completion.

Pick up items that you find on the ground

There will be instances where items will be scattered through the map, and you’ll find it contained in Pokeballs. Go near them and a “Pickup” button will appear that you can use. You can get useful stuff such as Potions, Pokeballs, and more.

The items that you’ll find will automatically be sent to your inventory. You’ll notice that there are items in The Soul Guardian such as EXP Up which will help upgrade your Pokemon in order to increase their levels as well. You can even sell items directly from your inventory.

Start working on increasing your Power

Each Pokemon that you catch will have a level that you can upgrade once they earn EXP. They will also have Power depending on their level. Your entire team will determine the power of your account as well, so leveling up all of your Pokemon will come in handy.

Unlike regular Pokemon games however, your Pokemon’s level will be determine by your account level. For example, if your account level is 10, then all of your Pokemon can only be leveled up to 10. This means that you’ll need to work on your quests in order to level up your Pokemon further.

We are aiming to create more pages in the game regarding the variety of features that you’ll be able to find, so please make sure to check our guide menu. Hopefully you’ll be able to get some useful information that will help out with your gameplay.
