Increasing your team’s power can come in various ways. You can upgrade your partners in order to increase their levels, or perhaps you can evolve them as well to get new forms as well as increased stats. There are more ways to get better stats as well, such as increasing your partner’s Effort Values.

In this page, we’ll be checking what Effort Values are and how they can affect your gameplay. Each one has specialties in their stats; therefore, you’ll want to increase the effort values that will help them achieve better results.

What are Effort Values?

So, what are Effort Values? If you open your computer, you can check out your team and see that there’s a variety of buttons you can use in order to improve your team member. On the lower-right side, one of these is called “Endeavor Values” which might actually be a typo, but it’s called Effort Values if you press it.

Effort Values are stats that you can raise using items. You can increase HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, as well as Speed. If you have a partner that excels in high attack and speed, then you’ll want to increase the same stats in order for them to maximize their potential.

In Soul Guardian, you have a total of 510 points that you can add to your stats. And each stat, has a cap of 252 points. If you want to max out two stats, then you can put 252 in each of them, and place the remaining points to a stat of your choice.

Take note though, that once you have added Effort Values, they can only be reset by spending Diamonds. Acquiring Effort Value items are also not easy to come by, so manage your resources wisely! Use them on partners that you’ll use on your team often.

How can you get Effort Value Items?

Now that you know how Effort Values work, you’ll wonder how you can get these items. Effort Value items can be acquired through the Expedition feature which is unlocked once you have reached account level 28. You can also acquire them through purchasing packs from the store.

If you want to gain access to the Expedition as soon as you can, make sure to keep playing the game’s main story, as well as completing your Daily Quests. Soon enough, you’ll be able to unlock this area in the Adventure section.
