What is Research?

So, what exactly is research? When checking the various buttons you can find on your game interface, you will have a button called Research as one of the available menu items on the lower-side of your screen. Checking the research section will let you view your different collections, as well as manage certain aspects of your team partners.

When checking your computer, you can view the partners that you have captured so far. However, if you want to view the list of all available ones, you can check this section for more information. You can then check more features below.

Research Features

One of the main features of Research is for you to be able to view all creatures that you can capture. This is displayed through the Pokedex, and you can view them for each generation. You can check out their in-game models, shiny forms, as well as data such as their species, type, height, and weight. A ball icon will appear on the list if you have them captured already.

The Reset feature lets you use Diamonds in order to acquire back resources that you have used, such as EXP ups. Essences, Cards, and more. This is useful if you plan to use these items on better team members, such as SS ones that you can acquire.

Pokemon Transform is a feature that lets you use Flash Flutes in order to turn your partner to their shiny form. You can also use Form-changing in case a specific creature has multiple forms available. You can then view your list of Tms available, Held Items, Ability Capsules, and Refine Runes once you have reached the level requirements that are needed.
