Mythic Heroes: Idle RPG Guide

In Mythic Heroes, players must summon mythical heroes, gods, goddesses, and deities from different cultures to combat the dark forces looming over the horizon. The game has an idle reward system called the Astrolabe which enables players to earn rewards passively, even when they’re offline or not actively playing the game. In our Astrolabe guide, we will discuss how this helpful feature works and how to make the most out of it.

Astrolabe Guide
You can access the Astrolabe by tapping the button of the same name in the lower-left corner of the screen. In the following screen, you’ll see the goddess Hecate and a clockwork-like mechanism behind her. This is the Astrolabe which allows you to earn rewards based on the time passed, regardless whether you’re online or offline. The astrolabe has a lot of mechanics that will take some reading for you to understand. However, if you really want the simplest explanation of this feature, here’s the TLDR version:
1. As time passes, rewards are added to the pile. The longer the time passes, the more rewards will be stockpiled.
2. Next time you log in, collect the stockpiled rewards and the process will repeat.

This is the mechanism’s core that gets charged up with Core Energy every time the Astrolabe’s outer rim is spun. Additionally, if the Core Charging skill is activated, a massive amount of Core Energy will be charged instead. Once the core is filled with energy, tap on it to receive a random, high-quality reward.

Cube of Truth

Once you have collected Cube Fragments, you can use them to unlock Cube Talents. These talents unlock permanent upgrades to the Astrolabe and heroes so it’s highly recommended to use these fragments as soon as you have them. We will cover this on a separate, dedicated page so kindly check it out as well.

Pointer and Reward Icons

If the pointer stops over an icon, the icon will light up and you’ll receive the corresponding reward. You can get multiple copies of the same reward. Once all icons in the outer rim are lit, the pointer will now allow you to redeem items from the inner rim, which contains better rewards. You can also use Gears of Time. These are consumables that can be used to produce rewards instantly, without waiting for the time to pass.

Astrolabe Skills

Whenever the pointer stops on one of the four skill icons in the Astrolabe, a small amount of energy will be infused to them. Once their energy is filled, the skill will be activated. The four skills are listed below. To upgrade these skills, you’ll need to collect a certain number of Legendary or higher heroes of the corresponding hero type as listed in the table.
Hero Type (for Upgrade)
Triple Pointer
Astrolabe’s 1 pointer becomes 3 for 2 spins.
Super Reward
Receive x6 of the reward from a random slot.
Chained Lightning
Release 4 lightning bolts and obtain all rewards from the slots hit by the bolts.
Core Charging
+30 Core Energy

The goddess Hecate will be managing the Astrolabe. You’ll be seeing her often and thankfully, you can customize how she looks by changing her outfit from her wardrobe. Unfortunately, these outfits seem to be tied to past events and there’s no other way of obtaining them for now. However, if ever there’s a rerun of these limited events, make sure to participate in order to get a new outfit for Hecate.
