Please be reminded that Tier Lists are not “definite” measures of the character’s strength and potential. There are a lot of factors to be considered like the characters’ availability, their synergy with your team, their utility, equipment, etc. As such, please use our tier lists as what they’re meant to be - a guide. Use tier lists to help you decide whether you’ll want to invest resources and time to build a character. At the end of the day, it’s you who will decide which ones you’ll use based on preference and performance .

Tier List Reminders
As far as our tier list goes, we will only mention the SSR heroes since they’re more powerful than the SR heroes by default. You can still use SR heroes (or low tier SSR heroes) early on as placeholders, until you’re able to recruit better SSR units. Some SR units aren’t even worth investing into and much better used as fodders for enhancing SSR units. However, don’t let that stop you from using certain SR heroes that tickle your fancy.
We will also only provide extensive details about heroes in our S-tier and A-tier. As we always remind players, tier lists are not definite rules dictating how overpowered or useless a hero can be. Remember, this is your game, your experience! So if you still want to use and invest in a hero that was placed low in our list, then by all means, do it! It all boils down to player preference and of course the availability of heroes. Use this tier list as a guide, as it is intended to be.
You should also consider Team Synergy - this is how compatible heroes are to each other in terms of skill effects and other buffs/debuffs they can bring in the field. This is not that important in the early game but as you face more difficult challenges or high-tier PvP battles, team synergy is much more important than having a team of top-tier heroes with no synergy at all.

About Skills
One major factor that determines a hero’s combat effectiveness is through his/her skill set. Skills make up the hero’s identity and playstyle - something that players can’t change unlike equipment sets or divinity skills. Here are some important reminders about individual hero skills:
* A hero’s rarity will determine how many skills they’ll have access to. R heroes have 2 skills, SR heroes have 3, while SSR and UR heroes have four skills.
* Skills will be leveled up automatically once the hero reaches the required character level.
* A hero’s rarity will also determine how many levels a skill can be upgraded to. For example, R heroes can’t upgrade their skills, SR hero skills can be leveled up to LV3, and finally SSR heroes can level up their skills up to 4 levels.

Nuwa
Nuwa is a UR support unit capable of providing outstanding buffs to herself and her allies. Her main gimmick is her Five-Colored Stones that produces a different buff or effect depending on the color. For example, her passive enables her to trigger a different effect every auto-attack. Brown removes energy from the target, red attacks 3 enemies at the same time, yellow stuns 2 targets, etc. Her ultimate will provide boosts to the entire party based on their hero type/ class. Nuwa’s attack speed is boosted, tank characters replenish HP every second, fighters receive an attack boost etc.
Buff aside, her Pillars of the Sky skill also removes a random enemy on the field for a few seconds. On top of that, a bonus effect will trigger based on the color of her Stone when the skill is used. For example, brown stone deals damage, blue extends the Sky Pillar duration, yellow stuns enemies near the target, etc.
Nuwa may provide amazing buffs but she can’t heal so make sure to include a potent healer in the team to take full advantage of the boosts that she can provide.

Idun
Idun is most likely the best healer in the game with the added benefit of serving as a “battery” to her team, restoring their energy at the same time. Her ultimate restores energy and heals all allies every second for a brief amount of time. Her passives enable her to summon Golden Apples that automatically heals any ally with less than 50% HPat the start of the battle or spend her energy to block some damage dealt to a backline ally. Finally, her active skill (Spirit Away) can deal damage to a target and steal their energy at the same time. This myriad of massive healing, energy restoration, and some sort of protective barrier makes Idun a mainstay for most, if not all, teams.

Joan of Arc
Joan is a support that plays like a tank and will serve well in the frontline. She doesn’t have a passive skill but all her three active skills are quite invaluable for the entire party. Her ultimate applies a shield to an ally with the lowest HP and protects them from any damage for a few seconds. At skill LV2, this shield will also grant immunity against Control effects. Her Sweeping Charge allows her to deal damage to enemies in front of her and knock them down while recovering a good portion of her HP. Finally, her Banner of Honor skill increases the attack of all nearby for the duration of the skill’s effect.
Joan can be a solid tank who can sustain her own through self-heals and attack boost her banner provides. Her ultimate can be a life saver on critically injured allies (or even glass cannons like Susanoo), which will buy them some time until your team’s healer can replenish their HP on time. Unlike other support units, Joan’s artifact and runes must focus on her survivability and defensive capability.

Iset
Iset is an incredibly powerful UR unit, with access to a revival ability, attack boost, damage reduction, debuff removal, debuff immunity, and more. Iset relies on her skills heavily so giving her artifacts and runes with that in mind is essential.
Her ultimate chants for a revival ankh. As long as there’s no ally who gets knocked out, the next time she activates her ultimate, her attack is boosted instead. If she gets interrupted, she’ll gain 500 energy. If an ally falls, the ankh is consumed and the ally will be revived. This emergency revival is invaluable especially in tough battles. At skill LV2, Iset will also become immune to control effects.
Her Balanced Clock passive is a nasty trap that will deal True Damage every 15s based on the amount of damage they received during that span of time. This passive alone makes her very useful in long battles. Her Ode to Sorcery boosts all allies’ attack while she replenishes her energy based on the energy gained by her allies. Finally, Purifying Incantation removes all debuffs on two random allies while also granting them damage reduction and debuff immunity.

Hela
Hela’s ultimate, Dark Synergy, averages all allies’ HP then replenishes everyone’s HP. Dark Cure allows her to drain the HP of the enemy with the lowest current HP then transfer 50% of that stolen HP to two of her allies with the lowest current HP. Foul Essence is her skill that activates at the start of the battle, reducing the attack speed of enemies within her range while also reducing the damage taken by her nearby allies. Finally, her Blood Stained passive increases all allies’ Lifesteal.
Hela is a very versatile support unit who can heal, lifesteal, and debuff enemies at the same time. This makes her an easy fit to almost any team composition. The only time you’ll need to replace her is when you get overpowered support units like Idun or Iset. However, if you think you need an additional healer, Hela is always a great consideration.

Cassandra
Cassandra is a dedicated hero that has several means of healing allies through her skill set. That said, her equipment should be built around this core strength. Her ultimate, Pious Plea, fully restores all allies’ HP but a large portion of that recovered HP will slowly drain away. Her only passive, Guardian Spirit, turns her into an angel that heals all allies for several seconds. While in this form, she can’t use her ultimate but will be able to use her active skills. Improving this skill’s level can further increase the duration of her form and provide damage reduction to nearby allies.
Cassandra is an exceptional unit in the early and mid-game but will be power-creeped in the late game or PvP. This is because even if she’s a dedicated healer, the amount of HP she replenishes can’t keep up with the damage of higher-level enemies, and she fails to bring other utility on the table. Nevertheless, she’s a good unit to invest early on. You can always reset her just in case you summon a better healer.

Nagakanya
Nagakanya is another versatile healer who can sustain the team through constant healing and other buffs. Her ultimate is a basic HoT (heal-over-time). At skill LV3, Nakaganya’s defense is increased for the skill duration. Her passive improves her healing abilities; at higher skill levels, this passive also generates a shield when she overheals, and further increases the healing received by allies with critical HP.
Her Aqua Barrier protects an ally with the lowest HP for a few seconds. If the shield breaks or expires, the protected ally and nearby allies will replenish HP. Her only offensive skill deals considerable damage while also stunning them.
