Disclaimer

Please be reminded that Tier Lists are not “definite” measures of the character’s strength and potential. There are a lot of factors to be considered like the characters’ availability, their synergy with your team, their utility, equipment, etc. As such, please use our tier lists as what they’re meant to be - a guide. Use tier lists to help you decide whether you’ll want to invest resources and time to build a character. At the end of the day, it’s you who will decide which ones you’ll use based on preference and performance .

Tier List Reminders

As far as our tier list goes, we will only mention the SSR heroes since they’re more powerful than the SR heroes by default. You can still use SR heroes (or low tier SSR heroes) early on as placeholders, until you’re able to recruit better SSR units. Some SR units aren’t even worth investing into and much better used as fodders for enhancing SSR units. However, don’t let that stop you from using certain SR heroes that tickle your fancy.

We will also only provide extensive details about heroes in our S-tier and A-tier. As we always remind players, tier lists are not definite rules dictating how overpowered or useless a hero can be. Remember, this is your game, your experience! So if you still want to use and invest in a hero that was placed low in our list, then by all means, do it! It all boils down to player preference and of course the availability of heroes. Use this tier list as a guide, as it is intended to be.

You should also consider Team Synergy - this is how compatible heroes are to each other in terms of skill effects and other buffs/debuffs they can bring in the field. This is not that important in the early game but as you face more difficult challenges or high-tier PvP battles, team synergy is much more important than having a team of top-tier heroes with no synergy at all.

About Skills

One major factor that determines a hero’s combat effectiveness is through his/her skill set. Skills make up the hero’s identity and playstyle - something that players can’t change unlike equipment sets or divinity skills. Here are some important reminders about individual hero skills:

* A hero’s rarity will determine how many skills they’ll have access to. R heroes have 2 skills, SR heroes have 3, while SSR and UR heroes have four skills.

* Skills will be leveled up automatically once the hero reaches the required character level.

* A hero’s rarity will also determine how many levels a skill can be upgraded to. For example, R heroes can’t upgrade their skills, SR hero skills can be leveled up to LV3, and finally SSR heroes can level up their skills up to 4 levels.

Ganjiang and Moye

Ganjiang and Moye are two characters that act as a single unit. When on the field, they don’t fight at the same time. Their skills have different effects, depending on who’s on the field. Their ultimate replenishes their HP while dealing massive damage to all enemies that can’t be blocked or dodge. The main downside is that this ultimate is only usable once per battle. After activating their nuke ultimate, they’ll have to rely on their auto-attacks for the remainder of the battle. However, this doesn’t make them any less weaker.

Synergizes with the following heroes:

* Western Queen

* Hela

* Lucifer

* Izanami

Izanami

As a mage, Izanami lacks the burst / nuke DPS damage output but makes up for with high survivability unlike her peers in the same class. She has a passive that reduces the damage she takes, with additional damage further reduced based on the number of Wandering Ghosts around her. She also has a Life Drain skill that replenishes her HP based on the damage done to marked enemies. Her ultimate also has this HP recovery effect on top dealing potent damage to individual targets.

These skills make her a mage/tank/support hybrid that’s quite exceptional in the early and mid-game portions of the game. However, her utility will get power-creeped in late game and in PvP. Nevertheless, she’s a top tier mage because of the several roles she can fill, giving flexibility to your party.

* Oberon

Amaterasu

Amaterasu is the newest UR unit that has access to nasty status ailments, damage reflection, immobilizing the target, and more. She has three passives; one of which allows her to reflect back damage to the attackers using her mirrors. For every reflected damage, a mirror will be unlit. However once the passive skill reaches LV2, all mirrors will be re-lit after a few seconds. Her ultimate deals damage over time which significantly increases each time it is released.

* Staff of Sharur + Fire

Synergizes with the following heroes:

* Lucifer

* Athena

* Idun

* Zeus

Tamamo no Mae

This fiery, foxy mage can quickly move to the enemy backlines, damaging all enemies along the way. Her passive even gives her immunity to the next incoming attack and teleports to a random position. Her main source of damage are her Fox Fires that lock-on to random enemies and damage them. Finally, her ultimate allows her to summon several fox fires and drastically increase the range and fire rate of all Fox Fires as long as the skill is active.

* Yasakani Magatama + Air/ Fire

Synergizes with the following heroes:

* Athena

* Ganjiang and Moye

* Izanami

Lilith

Lilith is a UR unit with the gimmick having two forms (masks), which will depend on how many of her teammates belong to the Guardian and Shadowarch factions. Double forms enable her to have twice as much effects at her disposal like lifesteal, personal buffs (crit/atk spd/energy restoration), party DEF buff, etc. Her Ultimate either deals massive damage that ignores a single enemy’s DEF in her Human Mask form while her Demon Mask form deals high damage to all enemies.

She can be hard to build without proper investment since URs are incredibly hard to get (so less chances of getting her duplicate unless you’re extremely lucky). However, she’s quite a solid DPS unit that will dominate almost in all phases of the game (early/ mid/ late) as well as PvP.

Synergizes with the following heroes:

* Joan of Arc

Flora

Flora starts off as a basic DPS. However, she does incredibly better once her skills are leveled up. Her ultimate and passive skills gain a stun effect at skill LV3 (Flora LV141). Her passive also allows her auto-attacks to deal more damage based on the amount of HP her target lost. Since she relies heavily on these two skills, focusing on builds that improve her ultimate and auto-attacks are highly recommended.

Zeus

Even though he’s a starter unit, Zeus can be quite useful all throughout the game, including PvP. His ultimate deals high damage to all enemies, an active skill that bounces off multiple targets, and the ability to create a shield for an ally that scales off Zeus’ ATK. Once this shield is destroyed, it also deals damage to all nearby enemies. Finally, his passive also enables him to deal True Damage based on the enemy’s current HP whenever he uses a skill. At skill LV4, this passive doubles the damage inflicted on a target with HP value of over 90%.
