Playing RPGs will mean that there are a lot of items that you’ll be obtaining as you progress through the story. This holds true in Lord of Heroes since there are a lot of activities that you can do such as purchasing items, making your heroes stronger by leveling them up, or even promoting or ascending them. With this in mind, there are a lot of currencies and materials in the game that might confuse you.
In this page, we’ll be providing you with a Currency and Materials guide that will show you majority of these items as well as their functions. Knowing where to get them will help you decide how you want to play the game once you log in, so let’s check what you can acquire.
Currency List
One of the first items you’ll be getting quite often in Lord of Heroes are currencies. These are different types of items that will be used in exchange for something of value, and they can also be used as the fees in order to play through a stage in the World Map.
Some of these items do not sound like currencies, but they are still the fees needed for you to use in order to get the items you want in exchange, or the service you can acquire. You’ll be using these currencies mostly in the World Map as well as the different shops in the game.

| Energy | Used in the world map in order to perform actions and play through the game's story. Refills at rest and you can store energy as well. |
| Gold | Common currency that is used as a fee for different kinds of features such as buying, promoting, etc. You can obtain this from the main story, events, and rewards. |
| Crystal | The premium currency used at the shop as well as the Alchemy section. You can obtain this from getting 3-Stars each stage for a reward, and it can be bought using real cash. |
| Renown | Received from expanding your territory, you can use Renown in order to recruit new heroes, or for ascending current ones. |
| Alchemy Ticket | Used to get artifacts or equipment from the Alchemy section for free instead of using crystals. |
| Alliance Credits | Currency used for the Alliance Shop, it can be obtained as a reward for completing an Alliance Raid. |
| Temporal Thread | A thread that is used to create outfits, used at the Boutique. You can purchase thread packs from the shop. |
| Outfit Ticket | Used as a currency for outfits for your heroes. Can be obtained from returning outfits and accessories. |
| Grondal Medal | Used for items at the Grondal event shop. Can be obtained from the Grondal event. |
Materials List
Materials are items that you’ll be using in exchange for a different kind of item or function. There are things such as materials used for crafting items in order for you to create a specific set, and there are materials that will be used in order to make your hero stronger.
Some items will help with the increase of power for your team, you will be undergoing the process of leveling up your heroes and then eventually you will need to promote them and ascend them. In doing so, not only will you need the Gold Currency, but the materials as well. You can check these materials on this table:

| Round Agate | Material for promoting heroes, can be found in the main story regions. Comes in different grades. |
| Guardian Agate | Material for promoting Guardians, can be found in the main story regions. |
| Warrior Agate | Material for promoting Warriors can be found in the main story regions. |
| Striker Agate | Material for promoting Strikers can be found in the main story regions. |
| Sniper Agate | Material for promoting Snipers can be found in the main story regions. |
| Cleric Agate | Material for promoting Clerics can be found in the main story regions. |
| Colorless Rune | Material for ascending heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Fire Rune | Material for ascending Fire-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Water Rune | Material for ascending Water-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Earth Rune | Material for ascending Earth-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Light Rune | Material for ascending Light-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Dark Rune | Material for ascending Dark-elemental heroes Found in the Hall of Elements. |
| Guardian Rune | Material for ascending Guardians. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls. |
| Warrior Rune | Material for ascending Warriors. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls. |
| Strike Rune | Material for ascending Strikers. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls. |
| Sniper Rune | Material for ascending Snipers. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls. |
| Cleric Rune | Material for ascending Clerics. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls. |
| Mythril | Material for crafting equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Weapon Shard | Material for crafting weapons, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Armor Shard | Material for crafting armors, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Glove Piece | Material for crafting gloves, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Shoe Piece | Material for crafting shoes, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Ring Shard | Material for crafting rings, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Necklace Shard | Material for crafting necklaces, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Guardian Emblem | Material for crafting Guardian equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Warrior Emblem | Material for crafting Warrior equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Striker Emblem | Material for crafting Striker equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |
| Sniper Emblem | Material for crafting Sniper equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment. |

| Mystic Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Fire Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level for a Fire-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Water Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level for a Water-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Earth Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level for a Earth-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Light Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level for a Light-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Dark Soulstone | Increase a random skill by one level for a Dark-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls. |
| Primeval Soulstone | Increase a skill of your choice by one level. Can be found in the Primeval Halls. |
