Playing RPGs will mean that there are a lot of items that you’ll be obtaining as you progress through the story. This holds true in Lord of Heroes since there are a lot of activities that you can do such as purchasing items, making your heroes stronger by leveling them up, or even promoting or ascending them. With this in mind, there are a lot of currencies and materials in the game that might confuse you.

In this page, we’ll be providing you with a Currency and Materials guide that will show you majority of these items as well as their functions. Knowing where to get them will help you decide how you want to play the game once you log in, so let’s check what you can acquire.


Currency List

One of the first items you’ll be getting quite often in Lord of Heroes are currencies. These are different types of items that will be used in exchange for something of value, and they can also be used as the fees in order to play through a stage in the World Map.

Some of these items do not sound like currencies, but they are still the fees needed for you to use in order to get the items you want in exchange, or the service you can acquire. You’ll be using these currencies mostly in the World Map as well as the different shops in the game.

CurrencyFunction
EnergyUsed in the world map in order to perform actions and play through the game's story. Refills at rest and you can store energy as well.
GoldCommon currency that is used as a fee for different kinds of features such as buying, promoting, etc. You can obtain this from the main story, events, and rewards.
CrystalThe premium currency used at the shop as well as the Alchemy section. You can obtain this from getting 3-Stars each stage for a reward, and it can be bought using real cash.
RenownReceived from expanding your territory, you can use Renown in order to recruit new heroes, or for ascending current ones.
Alchemy TicketUsed to get artifacts or equipment from the Alchemy section for free instead of using crystals.
Alliance CreditsCurrency used for the Alliance Shop, it can be obtained as a reward for completing an Alliance Raid.
Temporal ThreadA thread that is used to create outfits, used at the Boutique. You can purchase thread packs from the shop.
Outfit TicketUsed as a currency for outfits for your heroes. Can be obtained from returning outfits and accessories.
Grondal MedalUsed for items at the Grondal event shop. Can be obtained from the Grondal event.

Materials List

Materials are items that you’ll be using in exchange for a different kind of item or function. There are things such as materials used for crafting items in order for you to create a specific set, and there are materials that will be used in order to make your hero stronger.

Some items will help with the increase of power for your team, you will be undergoing the process of leveling up your heroes and then eventually you will need to promote them and ascend them. In doing so, not only will you need the Gold Currency, but the materials as well. You can check these materials on this table:

Square AgateMaterial for promoting heroes, can be found in the main story regions. Comes in different grades.
Triangle AgateMaterial for promoting heroes, can be found in the main story regions. Comes in different grades.
Round AgateMaterial for promoting heroes, can be found in the main story regions. Comes in different grades.
Guardian AgateMaterial for promoting Guardians, can be found in the main story regions.
Warrior AgateMaterial for promoting Warriors can be found in the main story regions.
Striker AgateMaterial for promoting Strikers can be found in the main story regions.
Sniper AgateMaterial for promoting Snipers can be found in the main story regions.
Cleric AgateMaterial for promoting Clerics can be found in the main story regions.
Colorless RuneMaterial for ascending heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements.
Fire RuneMaterial for ascending Fire-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements.
Water RuneMaterial for ascending Water-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements.
Earth RuneMaterial for ascending Earth-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements.
Light RuneMaterial for ascending Light-elemental heroes. Found in the Hall of Elements.
Dark RuneMaterial for ascending Dark-elemental heroes Found in the Hall of Elements.
Guardian RuneMaterial for ascending Guardians. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls.
Warrior RuneMaterial for ascending Warriors. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls.
Strike RuneMaterial for ascending Strikers. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls.
Sniper RuneMaterial for ascending Snipers. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls.
Cleric RuneMaterial for ascending Clerics. Found mainly in the Primeval Halls.
MythrilMaterial for crafting equipment, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment.
Weapon ShardMaterial for crafting weapons, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment.
Armor ShardMaterial for crafting armors, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment.
Glove PieceMaterial for crafting gloves, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment.
Shoe PieceMaterial for crafting shoes, mainly obtained in the Hall of Trials or by dismantling equipment.

Mystic SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Fire SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level for a Fire-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Water SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level for a Water-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Earth SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level for a Earth-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Light SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level for a Light-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Dark SoulstoneIncrease a random skill by one level for a Dark-elemental hero. Found by increasing level progress in the Primeval Halls.
Primeval SoulstoneIncrease a skill of your choice by one level. Can be found in the Primeval Halls.

All of these items can be acquired in the game such as progressing through the game’s main story and getting the stage rewards.
