Divinity Expedition is an interesting game mode that deviates from the standard turn-based combat system featured in the game. In this mode, you’ll have a boardgame-like setup, where you have to select which spot you want your goddess to move to. In our Divinity Expedition guide, we will cover the basics of this mode.

Goddess Era is an Idle-RPG where you can summon and collect alluring goddesses based on popular entities from popular folktales and fictional stories from various time periods of history.

You can access the Divinity Expedition window by going to the Adventure tab on your main menu then tap the Airship icon. From there, you should be able to launch this mode from that screen. This mode becomes available at 12AM and will be refreshed every 48 hours. After the refresh, all in-Divinity Expedition features will be regenerated and the buff bonuses from the previous period will be removed. As you progress through this mode, you’ll be able to collect basic rewards and Divinity Cubes. This is a currency that you can exchange for valuable items in the Expedition Shop like 5* goddess shards, bright cores, dragon scales, etc.

Additional gameplay details:

* From your starting point, you can select which tile you would like to move into. That tile can have enemies, revival points, recovery wells, merchants, etc. You have to be careful of the tile you’ll select since the other tile(s) that you haven’t chosen will be destroyed so plan your path as you see fit.

* Before committing to moving to a tile, you can tap on the next tile you’re planning to move into to get a preview.

* Take advantage of the healing points and revival points often, especially if you feel that your team is taking too much damage during your excursion.

* If you feel that you need extra firepower, consider hiring other goddesses with the highest combat power.

* If you have triggered a combat tile, you can change your squad’s formation and even skip the battle to save time.

* The total amount of loot collected for the session is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

After the battle, you’ll have to select one of the three buffs displayed on the screen. The quality of buff you’ll get to pick will depend whether you’ve defeated an ordinary enemy or the elite variant. You’re required to pick a buff/skill since you won’t be able to move forward without selecting one. Usually, the last enemy on the top serves as the floor’s boss so expect it to be harder. After defeating it, you’ll get a chance to select a gold-colored expedition skill and better rewards. Tap on the portal to head to the next stage.

At the bottom of the screen, you’ll be able to see four options:

* Divinity Treasure: This option allows you to use a Divinity Treasure to fully recover the HP of all goddesses including hired goddesses and knocked out ones. On top of that, the ATK of all goddesses will be increased by 30%, applicable to the next battle only. You can get additional Divinity Treasures from events or the Arena Scores Shop. Divinity Treasures are retained in the inventory even if you exit the Expedition window.

* Goddesses List: This will only display the list goddesses in your roster, including the hired ones. Hired goddesses are only available in this mode. After the dungeon is reset, the hired goddesses will get cleared as well.

* Expedition Skills: This section will just display the list of buffs you have chosen so far. These buffs are only applicable in this mode. If you leave the Expedition or when the adventure is over, these buffs are removed.

* Expedition Shop: This shop contains valuable items like 5* goddess shards, bright cores, dragon scales, etc. You’ll need to use the Divinity Cubes you’ll collect in this mode as currency to exchange for these goodies. The Expedition is the only source of Divinity Cubes.
