Last Updated:

In the world of Dislyte, the heroes that you obtain and add to your team will be accompanying you through the game’s content. One of the main features that you will be accessing is the story mode of the game. With the Espers that you have on your team, you should know how battles work already in order for you to win a fight.

In this page, we’ll be checking out how the story progression works in Dislyte. As you complete a lot of story stages, you’ll be able to acquire useful rewards, level up your Espers and Account, as well as unlock new types of stages that are available. Let’s check which features you’ll be expecting as you play through the story.

Story Chapters and Clearing Stages

Starting your adventure on Dislyte means that you will be going through the game’s tutorial. One of the first things you’ll be doing is playing the game’s story mode which will let you start from Chapter 1. Each chapter in the game has a set number of stages, for example you will be going through 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 etc. for the first chapter, then 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and so forth for the second chapter.

Checking the map under the game’s story mode will let you preview the available chapters in the game. Chapters you have unlocked will show you the potential types of relics that can be farmed there.

While you’re at the story mode section, tapping on the Map button on the lower-right side will let you take a preview of all available chapters in the game. There are 12 chapters as of this guide’s writing, and of course this can be updated in the future if more content is added to Dislyte. Each chapter lets you acquire Chapter Loot which provides specific effects for having set bonuses for relics that you can obtain. You can also toggle the story mode on or off if you want to watch the cutscenes that are available.

Different stage types will be available on a given chapter. These can provide you with varying challenges in terms of enemies, as well as potential loot that is available.

When playing through a specific chapter stage, you can go through different types of battles. The starting chapters in the game let you fight regular stages and boss stages, but chapter 3 onwards will let you play through practice stages as well. Here’s how each stage type works in Story mode:

  • Regular Stages: Majority of the stage types you’ll be going through in the game’s story chapters are regular stages. Here, you’ll be clearing waves of enemies, and acquire regular loot such as first-time rewards, relics, and gold.

  • Boss Stages: This type of stage can happen during the middle and end part of a chapter. Whenever there’s a boss stage, you will notice that it will have an icon with a creature that has horns. Bosses will appear at the end of your enemy waves, and they have usually tougher than regular enemies.

  • Practice Stages: Starting from Chapter 3 onward, you’ll be able to fight through Practice Stages. Here, you’ll be able to fight battles similar to regular stages, but the rewards you acquire more Gold, as well as Material Espers which will help make your Espers stronger such as Experimon which increases your EXP.

  • Chapter Rewards

Completing all stages within the given chapter will provide you with a 100% completion rate, and you’ll be able to acquire the Chapter Rewards. You can get a preview of the item you can acquire for completing are chapter by tapping on the “Reward” button on the lower-left side of the screen.

Completing all stages in a given chapter will let you claim your Chapter Rewards. Tap on the “Reward” button on the lower-left side to preview the item you’ll be able to claim.

Usually, you’ll find useful resources here such as Gold Records, Abilimons, and more. It would be best for you to save up on these rewards and only use them on Espers you’ll be investing on. As you complete more chapters in the game, you’ll be able to unlock more features as well from the different game menus.

If you cannot proceed further on a given stage, you will want to focus on improving your Espers by increasing their levels, providing them with better relics and enhancing them, etc. You can even farm practice stages you have unlocked so far since they can help improve the current Espers that you have on hand.
