Insignia Guide
More Blade Idle
In Blade Idle, your Hero’s growth is very important since this will determine your success rate when clearing a specific stage in the game’s campaign. A lot of the game’s features that you will need to unlock will require you to reach specific stages, and this can be an uphill challenge as you reach further into the chapters. There are different ways for you to become stronger, and one of the features provided for you is the Insignia system.
In this page, we’ll be checking out how Insignias work and how they can make your hero stronger. In order to become better in Blade Idle, you will want to max out as many possible buffs that you can in order for you to be able to inch forward with the game. Let’s check what the Insignia feature provides for your Hero below.
What is the Insignia System?
Alongside the many tabs that are available under the Growth menu, the Insignia tab is a feature that you’ll be able to unlock once you complete stage 8-20 in the game. Reaching this stage will mean that you have unlocked other ways of growth such as the Hero Upgrade and Emblem feature. However, there are still more features you can acquire by reaching later stages, so the Insignia system will be handy.
When checking out Insignias, you will be able to find a feature that you can upgrade in order for you to acquire useful stats. When looking at the interface, you will be able to upgrade Insignias that can boost your ATK SPD, MOV SPD, etc. The materials that you will require are Insignia fragments, which can only be acquired from the Insignia Dungeon.
When starting out, all Insignias will be leveled 0. You will then slowly upgrade each of the Insignia by one level each using the materials that are required. Once all outer Insignias have been increased by one level, you can then attempt to upgrade the Ancient Insignia at the middle to the next level.
Merging Fragments: The Ancient Insignia can only be leveled up once you have an Ancient Fragment. The “Merge Fragments” feature will only be usable once you have upgraded all outer Insignia’s to the next level. In order for you to acquire the Ancient Fragment, you will need to merge 100 Insignia Fragments in total of any combination. However, you must take note that the merge feature only has a success rate of 90%, there is still a chance for this to fail, and you can lose 100 fragments.
Once you are able to acquire the Ancient Fragment, you can level up the Ancient Insignia. When starting out, you can get a CRIT DMG 50% upgrade at level 1, the next level will provide you with Upgrade Insignia ATK 10%, and the buffs will keep changing as you level this up. Ancient Insignias provide a huge boost to the respective buffs they provide.
Insignia Types and Bonuses
Now that you know how the Insignia system works, you’ll be able to see that there are 6 types of Insignias that can be leveled up on the outer section. Once all of these are leveled up, you’ll be able to increase the level of the Ancient Insignia in the middle. You will then have to repeat the same process of leveling the outer insignias to the next level and so forth.
The table below shows all Insignia types, their effects, as well as the fragment type that you need in order to upgrade them. You’ll notice that some Insignias share fragment materials, so make sure to take note of this when farming in the dungeon.
Insignia Type | Bonuses | Insignia Fragment |
---|---|---|
Insignia of ATK SPD | Increases Attack Speed % | Red Insignia Fragment |
Insignia of MOV SPD | Increases Movement Speed % | Yellow Insignia Fragment |
Insignia of CRIT | Increases Critical Damage % | Green Insignia Fragment |
Insignia of SKILL | Increases Skill Attack % | Purple Insignia Fragment |
Insignia of GOLD | Increases Gold Acquisition % | Green Insignia Fragment |
Insignia of EXP | Increases EXP Acquisition % | Yellow Insignia Fragment |
Ancient Insignia | Increases different stats based on the level of the Insignia | Ancient Insignia Fragment |
In order to improve your Hero, you will want to farm as many fragments as you can daily through the Insignia dungeon. The floors there can provide you with Diamonds as first clear rewards as well. Clearing the floors can be challenging since the enemies there can hit hard, you will want to defeat them as soon as possible so increasing your PEN to bypass their DEF will help, as well as your ACU in order to counter their Dodge.
Improvement of your Insignia will be a long term goal, so make sure to clear your dungeons as part of your daily routine. This system will definitely help in order for you to reach more stages. Remember, you must reach up to stage 15-50 in order to unlock all of the game’s features.
