Blade Idle Beginner’s Guide (Part 2)
More Blade Idle
With the nonstop battles you encounter in Blade Idle, the enemies that you get to face will become stronger along the way. Increasing your levels, stats, and skills, will entirely depend on the resources that you have. Soon enough, you will need to look for other ways in order to become stronger.
Welcome to our Blade Idle Beginner’s Guide (Part 2). In this page, we’ll be checking out the rest of the activities that you can do when starting out in the game. You have already learned on the first part of our guide that focusing on your growth is important, so let us check what other ways you can accomplish that goal.
Start Summoning your Equipment
When playing Blade Idle, you will notice that increasing your levels and stats will require you to use the Gold that you have acquired from farming battles. When completing your quests and missions, you will also notice that there’s another currency that you can start saving up which are Diamonds.
Diamonds are needed in order for you to use the Summon feature in Blade Idle. This isn’t your typical summoning unlike other types of gacha games, but this is the place that you’ll be using in order to get your equipment in order to become stronger. When starting out, you will be summoning for your Weapon and Armor. The level of these equipment can be increased as long as you keep summoning. Once leveled up, you’ll be able to acquire higher grade items by chance, which will provide you with better stats. Take note that equipment can be upgraded as well in order to make you stronger.
Claim all of your Free Items
When playing Blade Idle, you’ll notice that there’s a lot of buttons on the game’s menu that might have a red dot on them. This will mean that there are possible rewards that can be claimed. For example, checking the Pass section will provide you with rewards based on your milestones such as level achievements.
There are also ongoing events at certain periods which can provide you with useful items, so don’t forget to check them out. You can also check the Shop button at the bottom of the screen and look at the different menus that can give out free items. Some rewards can be obtained if you watch ads, and this can be done a couple of times.
Check on the game after some time to claim Idle Rewards
Once you have logged off from Blade Idle, a feature will be activated where rewards will be accumulated as long as you’re offline from the game. After a couple of hours, logging back in will provide you with these offline rewards that have been farmed for you.
These resources are important for you to catch up on farming that you may have missed out on if you haven’t logged in the game. You’ll be able to claim these rewards automatically, so don’t forget to check them out from time to time. There’s a limit to the accumulation of these rewards while offline, so you will need to claim them to your inventory when you can. For example, the image above shows you were able to claim rewards that are 12 hours’ worth since you have been offline for that long. It will stop accumulating rewards further once the limit has been reached.
Unlock game features by completing specific stages
A lot of the features of Blade Idle are not available when you start out. Features such as going to the Dungeons, PVP, Raids, the Guild, Pets, and Relics are not accessible until you complete a specific stage. In order to start unlocking features, you will need to at least reach stage 2-24 in order to start clearing the Enchant Stone section of the dungeon.
You can check more features that can be accessible to you by looking at our Unlockables Guide. There, we’ll list down the features you can expect as well as the corresponding stages that need to be completed in order for you to get more variety in your game.
Use Costumes, Relics, and Upgrade your Hero
In Blade Idle, your hero’s look cannot be changed when starting the game. There are other ways for you to change your looks such as using Costumes which can be purchased from the shop. Costumes are not only aesthetic changes, but they can provide you with useful stats that will help out in battle.
Once you have completed Stage 2-40, you’ll also gain access to Relics which can be found on the Summon feature. By summoning relics, you’ll be able to unlock new passive skills that affect your stats. These relics can be upgraded, and they can improve your damage output, gold acquisition, and a lot more.
Finally, one of your long-term goals when playing the game is upgrading your hero. By checking the Growth section of the game, you can upgrade your hero by completing a challenge. This will increase your stats, and you’ll be able to unlock more upgrade challenges as you progress with the game’s campaign stages.
This concludes our Blade Idle Beginner’s Guide (Part 2). We hope that the activities listed here will help you out with your daily routine in order to progress through the game’s content.
