Growth and Level Up

In Blade Idle, your hero finds a legendary sword and will begin their journey in order to become strong. As you defeat enemies and clear stages, the difficulty ahead will increase since your enemies become stronger as well. Since the fights are done mostly automatically, your role is to improve your hero’s growth.

In this page, we’ll be looking at the Growth and Level Up tabs that are available on the Growth menu. We’ll be discussing about the benefits of the various skills you can acquire, as well as how leveling up in Blade Idle works. Let’s check which features are available on this menu.

What is Growth?

When discussing about Growth, this could include all of the features under the Growth menu that you will find at the bottom side of your game menu on Blade Idle. However, checking this menu will show that there’s also a Growth tab that is available for you to use. So, what is this type of Growth and how does it affect your character?

The Growth tab in Blade Idle is a place where you can use the gold that you have saved up in order to level up Growth Skills. These skills affect the stats of your character, and they have effects that are beneficial in battle. When starting out, you have access to ATK and HP growth, and you will soon have access to DEF as well.

Other Growth skills can only be unlocked once you have reached the Growth Skill level that’s required. When you check the right side of the growth tab menu, skills that are available for your use can be leveled up with Gold. If not, then the requirements are shown on how to unlock them.

Growth Skills

The first three growth skills are acquired early in the game which include ATK, HP, and DEF. Soon enough, you’ll be unlocking more growth skills which can improve your abilities in battle. The table below lists all growth skills that are available, as well as their functions.

Leveling Up

In Blade Idle, acquiring EXP doesn’t level your hero up automatically. With the experience that you have collected so far, you will need to manually level up your hero. By leveling up your hero, you can acquire 1 stat point for each level up that you acquire.

You can level up your hero as long as you have experience on hand. If your hero can manage the current stages properly, then you can build up more EXP and use the level up feature later on. Holding the Level Up button will automatically use all of your EXP and level up your hero non-stop. The skills that you can level up with stat points can be increased in increments of 1, 10, and 100 as well.

Level Up Skills

The Stat points that you can acquire can be used for your Level Up skills. When starting out, you have access to ATK and then DEF, you can then level up other skills that can be unlocked either by reaching a specific hero level, or after clearing a stage requirement. The table below lists all Level Up skills as well as their functions.

Checking your Hero’s Growth and Level, as well as their corresponding skills, will be a constant work in progress. There are a lot of levels that can be acquired as well as skills to be unlocked, and they will be needed if you want to clear the game’s later content.
