In Ace Defender: Dragon War, your main gameplay is done through the game’s expedition mode. However, you will also need a place in order to manage other features of the game such as summoning your heroes, and more. In order to check the various facilities that you can use, you’ll be able to go to the Sky City which is one of your game’s main menus.

In this page, we’ll be looking at The Forge facility including its various features. Progressing in Ace Defender will unlock more facilities as well, so let’s check out their functions. Learning more about them will help you navigate your way through what the game has to offer.

What is The Forge?

In Ace Defender, making your heroes stronger will require you to increase their power. This is done through a variety of methods such as leveling them up, as well as providing them with equipment. One of the ways to make them better as well is by providing them with Artifacts as part of their equipment. These items provide huge boosts for your hero, and you can acquire artifacts from the Rift Dungeon as well as the King’s Shop, Golden Leaf Shop, and Silver Leaf Shop.

The Forge is a facility that you can use at the Sky City in order to manage the artifacts that you have. Here, you’ll be able to view the artifacts you have acquired so far, and you can check out their attributes. You’ll notice that artifacts not only provide you with increased stats, but you’ll also be able to unlock skills as well as attributes.

Enhancing Artifacts

In order to make your artifacts stronger, you’ll need to use the Enhance button. From here, you can have a variety of choices that you can do in order to improve your artifacts. A variety of buttons with different functions will be shown on the right-side, and you’ll be able to view the attributes on the left. Here’s the list of functions you can do:

  • Enhance: Similar to leveling up your Hero, you can enhance artifacts to level them up. There will be stages where you’ll need to rank-up your artifact, similar to breaking through for your heroes. Enhancing will increase the Attack, Defense, Health, and Special stats.

  • Advance: Similar to promoting your heroes, you can increase the artifact quality by using other artifacts as materials. For example, a Rare artifact will need another rare artifact in order to advance it to Rare+.

  • Enchant: Enchanting lets you use materials in order to get some refined attributes to increase your stats. The number of Enchant Slots that you have will depend on your artifact’s rarity, where Mythic items can have up to 5 slots. There’s a button that you can use called “Attributes for Refine” which will show the possible enchantments per slot.
