Chapter 4 - Philip's Warehouse Walkthrough

This is our guide to Part 3 of chapter 4 of 3D Escape Room : Mystic Manor. After completing the 4 stages of the third chapter set on the Cruise Ship you collect the third gem and unlock another book in the device in the study.

You first investigated the bedroom and found a key, then through the office you found the secret entrance to the warehouse. Now you activate the next page of the book in the study and travel to Philip's Warehouse.

Book Four - Philip's Warehouse Walkthrough

This is a stone walled room with several alcoves on the sides that hold intricate mechanisms, boxes and relics.

First move forward towards the window at the end and then and look in an alcove on the right. This alcove holds a Mayan statue with secrets.

Collect a letter from the base, then view the center of the body and rotate the center circle half a turn to line up the red arrows.

This will activate a snake puzzle on the head.

Statue Snake Puzzle

• Eight of the snakes will stick out.
• You can slide these snakes back in to complete the puzzle, but yo need to do it in the correct order.
• If you make a mistake they will all reset and you need to start again.
• Use Trial and error to find out the order you need to follow.

Solution:

You can then collect a Mayan Dagger from the top.

Before moving on view the head with the lens eyepiece and you will see symbols on the left and right of the face these are clues for later.

Back up to the start and view the alcove on the left.

Collect another letter from the lower right. Then view the box with the lens eyepiece.

Notice the lower right boot has a circle. View this and turn it. The front opens and an old fashioned camera device will slide out.

First look at the top of the camera. Using the lens you will see a transparent blue section. Slide the small gear on the right up and it will start a mechanism.

This releases a large wheel on the right. Turn the wheel and a cylinder will pop out for you to collect the Metal Props.

The lens cap on the front of the camera will also open. Slide this down to see a slot in the front. The place the Mayan Dagger in the slot and turn it.

A panel appears on the right. Press the 3 gold buttons to open the bars and then you can collect a Puzzle piece.

After doing this another box slides out from the left. Look inside the round hole.

Light Beam Puzzle

• There is a beam of light coming from the top.
• Around the edge of the circle are 3 colored gems that you can slide around.
• At the bottom inside the box is a crystal that the light needs to reach.
• Inside the box there are also 2 colored gems that you can move around. View the box with the lens eyepiece to see a grid that they can be moved on .
  
• Arrange all of the gems to get the light beam to reach the crystal at the bottom

You will now see the top of the box lift up to reveal a type of number keypad.

A hint will tell you that you need to use the clues from the Mayan stone carving and then translate from the decoder.

We saw the clues on the Mayan statue above. There are 2 sets of symbols, one on the left under a green marking and one on the right under a red marking.

Back up and look on the alcove to the right to find the Decoder.

Now view the Metal Prop in your inventory and turn the base of it, this will cause a key part to extend from the bottom.

Next look on the top right of the decoder and place the Key here. Turn it and the decoder front will open.

You will also see another key hole on the right that will will need later. Open the cover.

Decoder

• We need to get numbers from the symbols clues on the statue.
• The decoder will translate numbers in to symbols. You enter a five digit number on the front, then pull a lever on the left side. This will then print out the 5 symbol for those numbers.
• The best thing to do here is to enter 1 2 3 4 6 and pull the lever to learn what those symbols are. Then enter 6 7 8 9 0 to learn those symbols. You can then use this knowledge to understand the clues.
• You can also renter the numbers you think the symbols represent to check them.

Go back to the box on the left side again and use the number you translate from the symbols.

Left side / Green:

After entering the number the green slider button will change, slide this up. This will open a compartment on the side of the camera for you to collect a letter and a Small Badge.

Right side / Red:

The red slider changes and you can slide this down. This will open another compartment for you to collect a Circular Ornament.

The box will close up and you will see a top section of one of the legs on the left turn. View this. Place the small badge here on the triangular slot and then you can turn the top section.

A new mechanism will appear from the box. View this.

Place the Circular Ornament in the center and turn it to activate the puzzle. Then rotate the blue disk around to reveal all of the phases.

The center will turn over and on the other side is a round picture puzzle.

Picture Puzzle

Place the Puzzle piece in the center to start. The outer edge pieces will slide out.

The pieces can be moved in towards the center or slid around the outer circle.

Move one into the center and then rotate the others around to find the correct locations.

The top part now lifts up to reveal a small castle model.

Castle Puzzle

View this with the lens eyepiece, you will see a blue model with four levels.

• The center section has two rotatable levels with thre symbols on each side.
• There is also a top section and a bottom one that can be rotated with 2 symbols on each side.
• Between these sections you will see round buttons. Tap these to turn certain symbols on or off.
• You need to get all of the symbols on all side of the four sections to be on.

Once done a small turret will appear at the top of the castle, tap this to collect the Key.

You will then see the top of the box turn to show another keypad with Roman Numerals.

Turn back to the Decode and view the keyhole that was revealed earlier. Use the Key here.

This will adjust the decoder to use Roman Numerals.

Enter the 2 numbers that you got from the previous clues into the decoder. Pull the handle for each one and the machine will give you a set of numerals.

On the box on the left you can enter these numeral codes. Then move the sliders as before.

You will get a Bust from the first set and a Wooden Base from the second.

The box will transform once again. Look on the lower left of the shaped box that appears to see a door.

Lift the flower catch on it to open it and the see a small lever inside.

Pull this down and you will then be able to collect Note A from above the door.

Now repeat this on the lower right side where there is another small door. You will collect Note B.

The lower section of the box will turn and then you can collect a Small Disk from the center door.

Now look on top of the shaped box. Collect a Letter.

View the Bust in your inventory and look underneath it. Move a small red arrow section out and then you can rotate it to match up the arrows.

Next view the Wooden base in your inventory and add the Bust to the top. You will get the Complete Bust

Place this in the square slot on top of the box. Then rotate it to face forwards.

The top section of the box opens up and you will see another Light beam Puzzle

Light Beam Puzzle Two

• This is the same as the previous light beam puzzle but there are now 3 circles you can look through.
• Each one has 4 gems that you can slide around.
• Inside are two section with three sides that you can see with the lens view and rotate to place gems.
• The light beam needs to be directed to the crystal at the bottom center of the box. (inside)
• You do not need to use all of the gems to do this.

Once this is done you will now see 3 sets of letters within grids of different layouts on the 3 windows. (Lens view)

The top section will turn again as well to show another keypad.

Take a look at Note A in your inventory, there are a series of names, each with a 5 digit code.

On the back of this note you can also find the two sets of Roman Numerals that we found before.

You can also look at Note B. This has the same grid layout as on the box windows but with Roman numerals in them.

You need to use these clues to find two new numbers for the Keypad.

Steps:

1. Find the positions of the 5 roman numerals in the each set in each of the 3 grids on Note B.
2. Then find the matching letters for each of the 3 grids on the windows of the box.
3. This will give you 3 possible letters for each of the 5 numerals.
4. From each set find a letter from each numeral to form a name that matches one of those on Note A

View the keypad and place the Small Disk in the center.

You can then enter the first number, move the left slider up. A door opens and you can move the wheels to collect a Gem.

Then enter the second number, move the red slider down. Another door opens and you can rotate a center block to then collect a Key.

Now return to the Mayan Stone status and look on the lower right.

Place the Gem here and a stone block will open up on the front to reveal a pyramid model.

Pyramid Puzzle

View the model with the lens eyepiece to see lines on the lower two tiers of the model.

• The blocks on the lower two tiers have lines on some side and not on others.
• The top two tiers of the model can be rotated.
• The circular base of the model can also be rotated, turning this will turn some of the blocks on the lower tiers.
• Changing the position of the upper tiers will change which blocks are affected .
• You need to get all of the blocks to have lines on top connecting to each other.

Once this is done you can collect a Circular Ornament and a letter. Now look in the center of the statue body again and place the circular ornament in the circle.

This will then reveal two sets of dials with five settings for symbols. We need to get a code for these.

Go back to the decoder machine and look on the right side to see the new key hole. Use the key that you have here and turn it. The machine will be changed to work with the new symbols.

Enter the two numbers from the previous puzzle into the decoder to get the translated symbols. (you can also see these numbers again by using the lens on the statue head).
