Stardew Valley: How to get Blue Chickens
Blue chickens can be a fun addition to your farm, while they don't offer anything particularly useful that is different to other chickens, they are cool to have around. Here's a complete guide on how to get blue chickens in Stardew Valley and how to fill your coop with them!
What are Blue Chickens in Stardew Valley?
Chickens are one of the first animals that you're able to raise on your farm. You will notice that you can have white chickens as well as brown chickens which give white and brown eggs respectively. Well, a Blue chicken is just another color variant which you can get for your farm. Unfortunately, this variant doesn't produce any blue eggs.
Blue chickens are just a different color, and they are still similar to White Chickens where they can produce white eggs. A benefit of having a blue chicken is that you can easily find it on your farm. If you feed your chickens grass, then they can hide on it easily.
Take note that having all blue chickens on your farm might affect completing the community center. There are bundles that require having brown and white eggs, so make sure that you still have a brown chicken available on your coop if you haven't completed it yet.

If you have completed the community center, you might not worry about which eggs your farm produces. If perhaps you want a coop full of Blue Chickens, then it's possible to manually select them. First, make sure that you have space in your coop. Interacting with a chicken on your farm will give you the option to sell them in order to make space.
When purchasing from Marnie, choose the chicken option for purchase. You will be asked to place a chicken in the coop of your choice, and you can either get white, brown, or blue. If Blue did not appear, you can just go back to the purchase options and try again. Keep repeating this to get the number that you want. You will then be asked to name your Blue chicks.
