Stardew Valley: Shane Gifts, Schedule, and Heart Events Guide
Shane is a scruffy fellow that you'll often see at the Saloon in Stardew Valle y and one of the possible romance options. On this guide, let's figure out which gifts he loves so you can raise his heart levels, have an overview of his daily schedule, and the conditions to trigger his heart events.
What Gifts does Shane like?
In Stardew Valley, there are items that are universally loved, liked, neutral, disliked, and hated. However, each character also has specifics that they want and don't want. The list below shows the specific gifts you can give to Shane.
- Loved Gifts: Pepper Poppers (Cooking: Hot Pepper x1, Cheese x1), Pizza (Cooking: Wheat Flour x1, Tomato x1, Cheese x1) Beer, Hot Pepper
- Liked Gifts: All Eggs except Void Egg, All Fruit except Hot Pepper
- Neutral Gifts: All Milk
- Disliked Gifts: Chanterelle, Common Mushroom, Daffodil, Dandelion, Ginger, Hazelnut, Holly, Leek, Magma Cap, Morel, Purple Mushroom, Seaweed, Snow Yam, Wild Horseradish, Winter Root
- Hated Gifts: Pickles, Quartz
Easiest Gift:If you don't have the patience for gathering ingredients for cooking, Sam can easily be gifted by giving him Pizza or Beer each day. These can easily be acquired from Gus at the Stardrop Saloon.

Shane's Heart Events
Heart Events are cutscenes that you can watch for each character if you are able to reach a specific heart level. In order to trigger the cutscene, you need to be at the proper place with the correct heart number. The list below shows the places you need to be for Shane's heart events:
- Two Hearts: Visit Cindersap Forest between 8 pm and midnight.
- Three Hearts: You will receive a recipe in the mail.
- Four Hearts: Visit Marnie's ranch at any time
- Six Hearts: Visit Cindersap Forest between 9 am and 8 pm while it's storming or raining
- Seven Hearts I: Visit Marnie's ranch while Shane is home after the Six heart event.
- Seven Hearts II: Visit Marnie's ranch while Shane is home after the Six heart event.
- Seven Hearts III: Visit the town between 10 am and 4 pm on a sunny day. Must have 2 hearts with Clint and Emily.
- Eight Hearts: Visit Marnie's Ranch while Shane is home (will not trigger if you did not see Shane's follow up visit after his six heart event.)
- Ten Hearts: Exit your house before 6:30 am and then walk to the Bus Stop between 4 pm and 6 pm.
- Fourteen Hearts: Visit the town (except Friday) between 8 am and 5 pm. The 2nd and 3rd part of this event will happen in town for the day two days at any time.
