When playing Monkey King: Arena of Heroes, starting on your journey will involve choosing a character at the beginning. Your choice will determine the main character that will help drive the narrative of the story since they’re an integral part of progression.

With the story driven nature of the game, your main character must have a place to rest, right? One of the features that you’ll be able to unlock in this game is the Homeland, in this page we’ll be providing you with a brief guide regarding the benefits of checking your home in the game, so let’s check what’s in store.

What is the Homeland?

The Homeland feature, also simply known as your Home, is one the game’s offers that you can unlock in order to provide you with beneficial features. You can acquire a plot of land as your home once you reach account level 14. When starting out in your home, you won’t have much in terms of furniture. However, you will be unlocking more items as you progress in the game, as well as features that can provide you with benefits such as stats and buffs.

Improving your Homeland isn’t only for aesthetics, but it will help out your team as well since attribute increases can help with your overall CP. As you keep on playing, you will be able to complete events in your homeland which will provide you with the currency needed to improve it. Make sure to check your Home as part of your daily routine.

Home activities

What kinds of benefits can your Home provide? When starting out, you’ll be able to do some Homeland events in order to get currencies for your furniture, but eventually you’ll be able to get more features. Here is the list of activities that you can do in your Homeland as well as their functions:

  • Homeland Events: Every now and then, there will be NPCs visiting your Homeland. When checking your activity list, you will find some events that are represented with the Dialogue icon. You can read the interactions that will appear, but you can also quickly tap the screen to finish the event. You will acquire Soulstones for completing Homeland Events.

  • Peaches: When checking your homeland, you can play a mini-game daily where you’ll harvest Peaches that will fall from trees. The Peaches can then be used to acquire buffs that will increase your stats in-game.

  • Koi Gifts: One of the items you’ll be adding to your home at the beginning is a Koi painting. This magical painting will spawn Koi over time, you can tap each Koi to get rewards such as Soul Beads, Soulstones, Jade Rings, and more.

  • Favourite: You can provide gifts to your Heroes in order to increase their favour level. This will provide them with increased stats, and you’ll be able to unlock more lore through their biography. Gifts can be acquired from Fangcun paint.

  • Fangcun Paint: This feature lets you challenge enemies in order to acquire different rewards. There are three floors in the painting, with different stages per floor. Fangcun paintings reset every 3 days, so you can finish the floors within the time period before reset.

  • Patrol: This lets you send out your heroes on the field in order to acquire rewards after a specified time period. You can get useful items here such as hero shards, ingots, soul beads, and silver. Better rewards are provided for longer durations of patrols.
