As already mentioned, the Research part of the game is done through the Alchemy Lab. Research is very important not just in unlocking advanced troops but also in efficient resource gathering.

Below are the researches and their respective requirements for every upgrade so that you will know which upgrade to take first,

Resource-Gathering / Production Tech

Fertilizer: Increases Food production by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Farm upgrades, Gold, Food, and Ore

Smelting: Increase Ore production by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Mine upgrades, Gold, and Ore

Logging: Increases Wood production by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Sawmill upgrades, Gold, Wood, and Ore

Stoneworking: Increase in Stone production by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Quarry upgrades, Gold, Stone, and Ore

Giant’s Strength: Increases construction speed by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Logging levels, Geometry levels, Gold, Wood, Stone, and Ore

Geometry: Increase training speed by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Workshop upgrades, Stoneworking levels, Gold, Wood, and Ore.

Shrinking Powder: Increases Storehouse capacity by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Storehouse upgrades, Logging levels, Gold, Wood, Stone, and Ore

Troops Tech

Magical Mapping: Increases troops (infantry) marching speed by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Gold, and Food

Alloy Horsehoes: Increase horse (cavalry units) marches speed by 5%.

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Stable upgrades, Metal Alloy levels, Gold, Food, and Ore

Featherweight Powder: Increases troop’s load by 10%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Gold, Food, and Stone

Healing Potions: Increase troops’ health by 5%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab, Featherweight Powder levels, Gold, Food

Poison Edge: Increases troops’ attack by 5%

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Barracks levels, Gold, Food, Wood, Stone, and Ore

Unlock and Information Tech

Eagle Eyes: Gives more details from the information gathered in scouting

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Gold, and Food

Fletching: Unlocks certain military units

Requirements: Alchemy Lab upgrades, Logging upgrades, Gold, Wood, Stone, and Ore

Metal Alloys: Needed for metallic weaponry and armor
