Recruiting Heroes / Skill Research / Watering Hole

Heroes are very important to your town’s functionality and efficiency. You can generally obtain heroes from story missions or via a saloon called the Watering Hole.

Recruiting Heroes

To get a hero, you must first collect enough “pieces” of said heroes. They look like puzzle pieces.

Recruiting Heroes

You have a chance to get heroes for free by selecting the blue “Recruit Once” button in the regular section. You can summon 5 times a day for free. After that, you need to spend Regular Recruitment Cards for Regular recruitment, or Advanced for the better Advanced Recruitment.

Aside from the watering hole, you can get these items from various other places. Most semi-consistently is from attacking critters. In our personal experience, Critters level 10 and above can drop "rations". These rations usually come with a name attached such as "Thomas "Age" Hennessy's Rations" or "John Collin's Rations". These rations have a chance at dropping hero shards of their namesake box.

The next way to obtain heroes is paying real money for them. Using this method is usually the best since going this route would net you better rank and rarity heroes than using the free method. There are deals going on randomly that reward many gold hero shards. Some outright give a hero like the first recharge (purchasing with real money) reward that gives you a hero (10 shards) for paying for the first time.

Also found in the watering hole, is the Skill Research page which allows you to try your luck at obtaining free skill shards. When sufficient skill shards are obtained, they turn into a skill which you can then use to teach one of your heroes said skill.

After getting the item, you may choose to draw again or exit by tapping OK
