Forsaken World: Gods and Demons is a MMORPG based on its PC Counterpart of the game called Forsaken World. Now that it’s on mobile, the controls of the game have been adapted into a much simpler interface. Quests are easier to access, and movement is simple, as well as your attacks since you have limited screen space as opposed to their PC counterpart.

In this guide, we’ll provide you with the basics of the controls in the game. This way you’ll be able to navigate much easier as you go through the game’s different locations, as well as the important features that you’ll want to look into, so let’s get started!

Quest Interface and Auto-Pathing

One of the features of the game are the main quests that you can complete. There are a lot of quests, and side-quests and it can be confusing if you look for the locations that you need to go to. Thankfully, the quest interface has a built-in autopath feature that lets your character go to the next location and then perform the corresponding functions.

On the left side of the screen, there’s a tab there that will show you the game’s quest list. Tapping them will let your character move on their own and then complete functions required for that specific quest. This can include gathering, attacking, and more. It’s useful since you can use this to level your way up in order to unlock the game’s main features.

Manual Movement and Attacks

Auto-pathing can only take you so far, since there will be a lot instances where you’ll have to fight monsters along the way. If you’re playing the game through the autopath feature, it will have its limitations as well since attacking through this method will make your character stand in place only.

At later levels, monsters can get stronger and it’s not enough for you to just stand and attack. You’ll have to make use of the game’s controls in order for you to maximize your survival. In this game, there’s a Virtual Joystick that you can use on the lower left side, and there’s a main attack button on the right side which is surrounded by your skills.

You can swap your skill slots by pressing the double arrow button on the lower right side, and this gives you up to 8 skills that you can use. Your ultimate skills are to the left, and you they can be used according to your liking. It’s good to take note of which skills you place in your skill bars, since knowing which ones to use in succession will help you out with determining your success in a fight.

Auto-Battle

If you’re playing the main quest, majority of the content that is given can be automatically done, and this includes fighting. In order to make sure that Auto-Battle is turned on, check the Screen icon that’s above on the right side of your chat interface. It will be marked as red if it’s active, and tapping it again will turn it off.

If Auto-Paths trigger Auto-Battles for you, you might be wondering what its other uses are. Well, there are locations in the game where there are wild monsters available. If you’re in a location that has a lot of monsters, you can leave Auto-Battle on order for you to gain EXP as well. This can be done if you’ve had enough quests for the day, and if you have done your EXP events. If you plan to leave the game open, you can AFK level using this method.

Knowing these basic controls of the game are simple and they’ll take you far in the game. Even if auto paths and battles are good, knowing your manual controls will take your further in terms of winning a fight. You’ll be able to access dungeons and modes in the game where enemies are much stronger and you can’t just stand, you’ll need to know how to position yourself and use specific skills to win.
